60 fps? meh
High end graphics? meh
You know what'd be really cool? Game to be launched polished without the amount of bugs they have nowadays and without the MTX crap SP are filled.
Now that'd be cool.
Not gonna happen, some devs may stick with that to garner good will from the community but there is too much easy money from MTX to be earned that most devs have MTX in their mind for the games to begin with, why wouldn't you want an easy way to make money?
60 FPS looks so good dude should try out a good 60 FPS Game on ultrawide screen like RE2 or GTA 5 it'll make you a PC gamer truelink

Nah, I'm fine with 30fps, 60fps is good but not necessary imo.
I want polished and MTXless games, those are the real priority for me.
I doubt that micro transactions are going anywhere so one can only hope that they aren’t particularly intrusive. I do agree with the more polished games aspect though. I realize that developing games is very complicated and difficult however as someone who prefers to get their games on a physical format it’d be great to get more games that don’t need these day one patches all the time.
60fps is only out of reach for consoles because those dumb-shit marketers are pushing 4K.
And if you knew anything about how games are made you would realize that having a 'performance' mode as well as a 'cinematic' mode is a super reasonable thing to ask for.
But I'm with you. It seems like most AAA devs are incapable of making games without:
Microtransactions are here to stay... we need to get over it. You may not buy any but it wont stop the low percentage of gamer whales that spend more than enough money to keep MTX practices in business.
But polish is coming back.... last 2 games I bought were razor sharp in the polish dept. RE2 and Division 2 both have that new game shine.
I expect the same in Rage 2 and Doom.
@enzyme36: is the "gamer whale" argument real? I'm not saying you're making it up, but where does it come from? Does it make sense that a handful of people spend that much?

The thing is, its not just a handful of people... when a game sells 10 mil, all you need is 1 or 2% to spend to generate some revenue. Then you consider a game like clash of clans making $2 bill in a year, and FIFA year after year selling cards and never needing to actually upgrading the game on the pitch.... its tough for me to envision in-game sales going away anytime soon.
@enzyme36: Yeah, 100-200k people is a decent chunk of people. I guess I'm just lost as to what games are worth that extra investment besides MMOs or a ftp game where they did a good job and you feel like they deserve it.
But are these whales or just a lot of people paying a few bucks frequently. My idea of a whale would be someone paying exorbitant amounts.
