Pikmin 3 port apparently coming to Switch

I can see this happening. Switch may be 50% ports, but at least we're getting quality games. Your thoughts, SW? Would you be interested?

I’d definitely be up for that. Never played any of the games in this franchise before but have always been interested in it so I’d like to take a crack at a Switch version myself.

Yeah, makes sense. Honestly makes sense to free any decent game that was trapped on WiiU lol. It's like that console didn't exist, these might as well be new releases.

Pikmin games just never grabbed me. Like they seem really good, but never got that far in them, would always move on to something else.

Yes, if true that’s a day one for me. I’ve been hoping this would make its way to the Switch since forever (though a compilation would be preferable), but having any Pikmin on the go would be amazing.

Port it to Switch in a 5 minute job. Jack up the price 50% from 40eur to 60eur.

Pikmin 2 was better. Don't feel like paying full price for Pikmin 3 again.

LOL screw that, I want Pikman 4! Look, I know Pikman 4 is in the works, but if Nintendo wants to do Pikman 3 port, might as well do all the Pikman games and port them all to Switch.

A nice game. also the graphics king of fruit :P. Not as good as pikmin 2 but still quite enjoyable. Hopefully it gets more attention on the switch. I wont be getting it though as i have the wiiu version.

They should be able to move the gamepad stuff to the main screen handily enough. The only thing is controls: the wiimote and nunchuck setup shines with pikmin. so hopefully they can replicate that to some extent with the joycons (and have support for the other control setups too).

A port of all 3 on the 1 cart would be sweet but is highly unlikely. Pikmin 4 would be even sweeter.

This was a very good game. I definitely enjoyed it on the Wii U. Won’t rebuy it since I still have it. Everyone should get to play this though so hopefully they do port it.

If it wasn't for being released on Wii U P3 would have sold sooooo much more. Even with the game being a free download with purchasing Mario Kart (or was it another title) I'm sure it didn't set sales numbers on fire and it is really a shame as it was a gorgeous, fun and entertaining title.

I never played any WiiU or Wii games back in the day. I do have a Wii and a WiiU, but I bought them later for...other reasons....

I will double dip, one of my favorite games I played on Wii U. I had never played a Pikmin game before this one.

I never got into the series. The only Wii-U port I want is the HD versions of the Zelda games. Doesn't seem like that's going to happen sadly.

Same here but I believe it's only a matter of when not if. Rumours have been circulating about the games being sold as a double-pack, I hope they're true.

It might run at a higher resolution but won't be anywhere near as good without the Wii remotes IR pointer.
