I thought he was already CEO. Then who was CEO before that?

There was no CEO of MS Gaming.. as VP he reported to Nadella. I imagine he still does OR this could mean that the gaming side will be more independent of MS

I always assume he was already in that position after Don Mattrick left MS years ago. If that's the case now, I like to see Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) get the VP promotion.

He definitely deserves it. He convinced Microsoft to spend like $78B.

I'm guessing that now that MS gaming is getting so big now, it makes sense that there is a CEO.

@mesome713: at least wait for your eggs to hatch. So quick to claim victory. What do you guys like from MS besides Halo/Forza anyway to constantly push victory? Certainly isn't their track record. Crackdown 3, Recore, Too Human, Gears 5, etc. Must've been hard being a Xbox fan until the promise of keeping multis off other platforms.
