We making 700-800$ rigs that lasting 5-6 years and among all major titles with extra content , way better graphics , resolutions , frames, multiplayer , mods on way better prices most of the time we getting also massive amount of epicly good FREE 2 PLAY exclusive games. League of Legends, DOTA 2 , Path of Exile and why not Hearthstone to name few

Hearthstone deserves a 10/10, to be honest. It's free, yet not exploitative. It's simple, yet deep. It's gorgeous, but not demanding. Same reason Dota 2 should've won more GOTY awards last year.

I don't see why someone would consider Dark Souls 2 a console exclusive. For fucks sake, the PC version is coming out in a month.

Hearthstone is very fun.

I even managed to sell two spare beta keys for $40 and $30 respectively during the closed beta. The game already bought me a copy of Dark Souls 2 in a way.

You are missing the point.

The point here is that if a game like Heavy Rain can be considered as "valid", then a card game is just as valid. Once the issue of validity is out of the way, the merits of Hearthstone trumps many other video games on the market.

Hearthstone is relatively casual for a card game, but it captures the essence of card game fairly well. However, compared to casual video games, it has more than enough strategy and mastery involved to be anything but casual.

Quick question(s)....

1. How many multiplats were better on PC (hint: nearly all) last gen and this gen?

2. How come PC has a vastly larger high scoring (80%+) gaming library than PS3/PS4 for that gen?

3. Why doesn't PS3 or PS4 have a real competitive scene yet while PC has dozens?

Because even if you assume that all GOTY winning games are better than everything else (a laughable assumption, but we'll roll with it), one "really, really good" game is sooooo much better than a few hundred games that are only "really good". Or maybe it's more like a hundred really really good games vs. a thousand really good games. Either way, the point is the same.

So much hate here and most of the trolls are missing the point here . PC have bigger library and more genres than any other platform . From a card game to AAA RPGs , RTS , Adventure games and better version of multiplatform games , PC got everything covered . The main reason why video games were created in the first place was to have some fun , which can be in any shape or form , even a card game . This game is very fun indeed and to be honest , it is more gamey than so called press A to win movies (and bad one at that) .

As for exclusives , those are the reasons why I got rid of consoles because there are too many of those on PC and I'm not even including small indie games . I can enjoy those PC exclusive games for years without even touching any multiplatform game unlike consoles , where after several months one exclusive is released and till then it is hyped to death .

Will consider owning a console once games like World in Conflict , The Book of Unwritten Tales , The Witcher , Hard Reset , Civilization , Total War , Starcraft , Guild Wars 2 , Freelancer , Dawn of War , Amnesia etc are available on consoles . Not to mention upcoming games like Squadron 42 , Star Citizen , Elite Dangerous , Routine , The Forest , Lichdom , Among the Sleep , Grey Goo , This War of Mine and so on . People are getting bored of same formula over and over again (Shoot , Perfrom QTE , Watch Cutscene and repeat) that you normally find on consoles (and can be played by anyone , hence GOTY awards on console focused websites like Gamespot or ponies at IGN) , real gaming will always be on PC .

I started as a console gamer but switched to PC a long time ago and never looked back .

I suck at card games, so it doesn't matter much to me.

My friends, no need to fight. Technically speaking (as pointed out by several highly respected members on the community) card games are indeed more credible and valid video games than Naughty Dogs and Kojima's uninteractive console titles. Likewise, as factually proven by metacritic, significantly higher in quality than Call Of Duty with robots.

Lets adopt a positive outlook to the idae that niche genre has outshine console gaming as we know it.
