PC Gaming: By FAR the Most Played System

I haven't played LoL that much, enough to know why it's so competitive, but this is ridiculous.

The real basement dwellers are those living under a rock without a gaming PC.

edit: I just saw the other thread, but this one is more harsh to the consolites, so I vote for deleting the other one :)

This pretty much is it, the pc is the best of both worlds

Uh, well I didn't see any exact sales numbers of LoL in the retail-based NPD numbers, so I'm pretty certain LoL isn't played that much.

I also don't see it advertised on TV which is another hint that it's not popular.

I disagree. Firstly Nerd means "highest income potential"

Second, console gamers are essentially emerging from Shanidar cave. Which is to say, they're using a Nokia phone from '99.

We all know that Shanidar cave is the ultimate 'basement dwelling'.

Number of something should never be used to say something is good. Especially in gaming when there's more casuals than anything else. If whatever game you enjoy has millions of players, you should start to worry because the more millions they have, the more casuals that will be. Which means their voice will become the majority, and as gamer who enjoys some depth in games, that won't be a good thing for me. tagyhag
