Path of Exile 2 and mobile announced

Oh, this looks a lot better than the first PoE. Wasn't a fan of the movement in that one.

The second one is just like the first game, in fact its one game.

When you start a new character, you can choose between 1 or 2, when you beat the game, you go to the endgame atlas. So you take your character through either game.

So is now a good time to jump in to Path of Exile? Never played this game...lol.

I hope there will be a paid version in which you get the quality of life things and maybe some of the cosmetic DLC over time.

The game doesn't really have a bad time to jump in. I suppose the start of a League would be 'best' but also... for your first time that doesn't matter. You just need to give it a chance even after you see the progression screen (cause it's daunting).

I recommend two things: Be aware that the game will ask if you want to create a League character or a standard character. The leagues are temporary. I recommend going against your gut feeling and go with the current temp League. (For several reasons, if you want to know. One is the economy that resets every league which turns out to be an amazing feature. Another is because there simply is more stuff to do in the leagues.)

And secondly I recommend going against your gut feeling, and (at least somewhat) follow a character build for your first time through the game. (Look up 3.8 version builds on a website like this one. And just try one that says league starter. Or look for a 3.8 league starter on YT. Don't be too picky.)

The first time I played Path of Exiles I did not do those two things and I quit playing after only a few hours. The second time I played it like this, and started to really appreciate this game.

Heh bet the diablo 2 fanatics is going to love this:) looks decent, but personally I think d4 looks way better!

Blizzard are entitled assholes who speak down to their fanbase like plebs, they should have competition like this.

Deliver a battle game at a superior price point.

-19 New ascendancy classes
-New skill system
-Massively improved engine for gfx and physics

and more features to be announced in future all for free.. they can call it whatever they want.

It's a full reset right, no items/characters from POE1?

I'd assume it will stay how it is now. Standard characters don't get reset but all new leagues are a fresh start. Standard has some godly crafted items that required insane amounts of time to craft i doubt GGG would just wipe all data for POE2.

But of course fans are quick to forget and everyone has already forgiven Blizzard now.

I'm pretty pumped about this. Path of Exile is a great game. I'd prefer a paid model over F2P, but it's still great.
