Is the amd 6350 that weak? A neighbor of mine has a r9 270 but some non K second gen i5. At 1080p, ultra except textures high, and with various FRAPS benchmarks and the ingame one it usually hovers around 40fps. The only problem is that it gets some ugly frame time spikes, probably because of the VRAM.

Why are you laughing that your PC can't run a game as well as the PS4? I would be driving to Micro Center asap if I were you. That is the kind of performance you will see with a $130 CPU and a $170 GPU.

Well there are those that will say "parity is coming" or here until the next gen consoles come. It will not happen. Much like those cows that said "superior multiplats don't matter" last gen, but its a big deal now. Fanboys.............you know? Of course you do.

Of course there isn't parity. There isn't parity in GPU compute unit count so of course there isn't parity in graphics performance. PS4 has 18 of them, X1 has 12. That's really all one needs to know. Are we really going to get a barrage of threads like this every time a multiplatform game is released this gen?

Of course. As lame as it is, this is all people can really argue about besides sales. Exclusives are too rare for SW to depend on now. This is going to be one hell of a boring gen for an already dying message board.

I miss the days when multiplats were actually different games that happened to share the same name and exclusives were actually common place. SW would have been awesome back in the 16, 32, and 64 bit days.

Watchdogs still looks a good bit better on PC.

What I don't understand is how the consoles only used high textures (instead of Ultra) on WatchDogs yet they were able to use high textures in Shadow of Mordor which were just as vRAM demanding as Ultra textures in WatchDogs.

I was exactly thinking about this. Ultra on Watchdogs was also 3GB VRAM.

900p/1080p same fps is the way it will be moving forward with the odd exception of 1080p/1080p. As I said it would be, the funny thing is people thought PS4 would be 60fps. its simply is not that much more powerful.

No, only Xbox One fans. Even though software has never "closed the gap" it's magically supposed to this gen. Pathetic!

First of all i say aiming for 60FPS and i the second quote say supposedly in non i stated is 60FPS lock.

Having watched a stream of the PS4 on Twitch, it was clearly 30fps. Unless Twitch capped me. Not sure where people are getting 60fps confirmations from.

Simple because hermits here think that everything is black and white with consoles,this game have cause some rather disturbing results some GPU which are stronger than the problems with it and it is recommend in some to lock the game at 30FPS to lower stutter,my PC cost me close to $600+ and has more problems running this game than my PS4.

In the PS4 version everything seems high except for vegetation and LOD which seems like medium. You're running everything Ultra except textures and lighting I believe only reaches high and motion blur seems to be broken (apparently if you turn it off you get a fps boost even when it doesn't do anything in game, but haven't tried it, just an internet rumor for now)and you get a slight FPS edge even if unstable in compassion. If you put everything on high you will be hitting 60fps, V-sync that with forced triple buffering and you will only see some spikes in the 50's and maybe 40's on areas fully loaded with enemies or/and with the weather changes and a few stutters especially in such situations.

At least a PC with a r9 270 is slightly better since it gives you more options to personalize the experience.

Because the PS4 version doesn't drop to 20FPS.

Doesn't freeze like mine and don't stutter even close as much.

But my problem was drive related i updated to the latest drivers and now i am running high on everything even textures an get 55 FPS average but still in fall into 24 22 FPS when things get loaded and still get allot of stutter.

I am running it better now.

Poor Tormentos.

This is an open game much like Assassin Creed which was 900p on xbox one as well on launch and 1080p on PS4 the gap still is there,hell if this game is any indication it widen.

AC black flag was 1080p on PS4 with better AA and less jaggies the xbox one version was 900p but aside from the jaggies it was the same in everything else,this game has lower vegetation on xbox one which wasn't the case with AC and has lower shadow quality as well which wasn't the case either with AC,but AC was cross platform galore that didn't push ultra hard,this game is punishing GPU on PC and cards much stronger than the xbox one.

If anything this game has a wider gap than other 900p games on launch.

Otherwise, both versions are very closely aligned in terms of effects quality and filtering - the PS4 only missing out on a subtle alpha effect around a creature's fangs in one encounter (shown in our comparison videos).

Parity there is no parity now this lead is what he have seen on other games and is perfectly acceptable,now where is the parity squad.?

Again, the gap is closing, yet you deny it and instead deflectby pointing out the 1080p vs 900p; acting as if it is a significant difference.

If I lived in a world where I could afford it, I would own an Xbox one, pc, and the ps4 to enjoy everything :). For now I can only enjoy my ps4.

OK. As I have said to numerous people: show me. Go to the net, find some video comparisons, do some screen shots, and show me where this significant difference exists.

I will be happy to admit I am wrong if you can prove it.

This is an open game much like Assassin Creed which was 900p on xbox one as well on launch and 1080p on PS4 the gap still is there,hell if this game is any indication it widen.

AC black flag was 1080p on PS4 with better AA and less jaggies the xbox one version was 900p but aside from the jaggies it was the same in everything else,this game has lower vegetation on xbox one which wasn't the case with AC and has lower shadow quality as well which wasn't the case either with AC,but AC was cross platform galore that didn't push ultra hard,this game is punishing GPU on PC and cards much stronger than the xbox one.

If anything this game has a wider gap than other 900p games on launch.

Fine. Show me. Go to the net, find some video comparisons, do some screen shots, and show me where this significant difference exists.

I will be happy to admit I am wrong if you can prove it.
