I like the parts where hes running along the walls and climbing. It looks pretty natuaral. And the way he runs around stuff, and ducks down. Its pretty realistic animation really... Pretty cool. After seeing this lastnight, I am beginning to change my mind about this game. Maybe it is a "must have" afterall. They a few more months to refine it, and convince me.

Clearly you haven't watched enough adventure films, everybody knows the bad guys are cross-eyed and legally blind. Heck, the only thing keeping this game from being a classic IMO is how many shots it takes to finish some enemies.

I think it's to give it the cinematic feeling. HL2 had bad enemy A.I and used a similar storytelling campaign (as in, you could see all those scenes working cohesively in a movie).

Melee Combat - Could be cool if the controls are done right and if it has good variety of moves. The animations in here are cool and satisfying. Design - Boring and uninspired.

Half Life 2 did not have bad enemy AI. It just wasn't as good as the first Half Life.

This game won't be sold with any gimmicks. Its about the whole package and it looks like a really fun adventure game. I mean you could've said the same thing about Jak and Daxter and look how that franchise turned out.

As bigger deal as cows are making about the animations splinter cell conviction has at least twice as many, looks o.k the colour of the jungle is just wrong to me.

Half Life 2 did not have bad enemy AI. It just wasn't as good as the first Half Life.
Which means it had bad AI. Half Life 1 had great AI when it first came out. Years later, that AI doesn't hold up so well.

I am definately getting this game when it comes out. Also everyone has to remember that the game still has about 4 months left to refine. And besides, when has ND ever let us down?
These are graphical results after only 8 months on the PS3, this game already looks to be the most impressive graphics ever seen on a console. Yes, better than Mass Effect and Gears of War.

The Dude is purpsful. The devs said they don't want to make some game where there's this one super uber 1337 guy whohas no equal. They wanted to create a character that would be normal, but fit enough to do things that normal city folks can;t do
And the enmies are just pirates..they are don't have to loook badass.

Yup, looks like the devs succeeded.
how? im another ps3 owner that won't buy this because of the bland generic design. i'm talking everything, from the terrain to the models, to the weapons... just really really doesn't do it for me, looks almost kiddy.
