This is to piggy-back Shadow's OP's thread about old school gamers.
First, let's define what we will consider old-school gamers. Personally, I consider anyone who was gaming during the 8-bit era an "old schooler". However, let's extend the boundary to 16 bit systems--that is, anything pre-Saturn or PS1.
The question now is: do you prefer the name "Elders", "Scholars", "Sages", "Owls", or "Dragons" (the most popular among those in Shadow's thread).
I came up with "elders" and "sages", (shameless plug, I know) so of course I'm partial to those. I also think "owls" has a lot of merit--simple, yet meaningful. Let's vote!
If we're going to do this, which will happen no matter what I say or think, I guess I'll ignore the hypocrisy of it all and just suggest we name them after an iconic figure in gaming from that time. Something not like Mario, but something hidden or a secret of sorts.
