Ok lets say Gears 2 Looks better than Killzone 2, R2, and MGS 4 when it's out...

Mass Effect scores just over 90% on Gamerankings. And yes there are some minor technical glitches and some annoying slowdowns etc.The consensus of people that have actually played the game seems to be that these are rather minimal. Unlike you I have the game.

Second, I wasn't aware that multiple sites stated that there was a mode "to limit the graphics so the game will play better" and then all the righteous nonsense you post afterwoods about that. There is mode to turn film mode on and off. This effect is to make the graphics look like a space movie shot with a handheld/slightly grainy. It is to add atmosphere. Some people like it on, some people like it off. It doesn't have anything to do with limiting the graphics to play better. Like I said check your facts.

If MGS 4 looks like that running 60 FPS. And Gears of War 2 looks better and can hardly run 30. Id rather have MGS 4

F the textures and crap. I want 60 Frames per second. Screw the resolution. Screw the whole realistic textrues and what not. I want games to run smoother and better. jg4xchamp

By the way most lemmings are reacting to my post it's as if they almost expect Gears2 to not proform that well if it looks really good. If you praise crap how can you ever expect games that are better? despite how I seem, I don't hate on other games because of console. I'm not even saying Gears wont be a great game, but I am more impressed by how a game looks on my TV while playing it then how it looks in a screenshot.

Anyone remember the first time you saw MGS2 screen shots? looked crap IMO...but then I saw it in motion and it blew my head off. There are alot of games that look better in screenshots than MGS2 does that dont even come close to looking as impressive as MGS2 does when it's played on the TV in front of you.

This is what I'm trying to get across.

MGS 2 was also a graphical acheivement for Ps2 because even with all the the physics, lighting and particle effects it still maintained an almost constant 60fps. No pop-up, framerate problems or graphical defects like alot on next gen games now, now that's impressive.

I'm a shemming, and I will not praise GeOW 2 if it runs like Mass Effect. Not at all. Many lemmings have praised Mass Effect saying it is the best looking game this gen. They seem to overlook the massive framerate problems, the texture load-ins taking ridiculously long, and the stiff animations in combat. All those to me are related to graphics. However, this is kind of a pointless debate, because GeOW 2 won't have these problems. Epic won't allow it.

Seeing how gears1 is still the most technically impressive game on a console, Gears2 will blow everything away. Killzone2 and MGS4 also have horrible textures.jbz7890

The last Killzone 2 video we have seen is like 1 year old. The game will look much better then it was last year and it looked amazing.

MGS4 looks so good. The last trailers we have seen are from last year also.All those pics with bad texture are so old. The game look so much better now.
