For some reason I have been able to ignore him. There are 2 other users that make my blood pressure rise to unhealthy levels though. But if they weren't here I probably wouldn't even come to System Wars so I guess they aren't all that bad.

So looking at Type-0 sales, FFXV doesn't have that much hype it seems. It will probably sell Final Fantasy 9 numbers LTD. The only other way I can see FFXV selling well, and by that I mean meeting or passing XIII numbers, is if they release it near the holiday season and give it a BF price drop for a week, and do the equal in japan.

Since my phone hasn't worked all day, this thread brightened my day.

How would rate it in terms of comfort? Tried it the other day (granted a popular demo product is rarely in perfect condition) and it felt...weird... The warm screen against my hands was quite uncomfortable. The regular S6 felt much better IMO. On that alone I'd pick it over the Edge.

Well this thread will be kinda boring now lol. He was the only one trying his hardest. Anyway, MS is getting burned this gen with the techniques they used last gen, specifically with COD.

I think the sales are too close to think that Halo 5 won't win them a month. If not October than November.

It may be possible they win in may who knows. I thought the PS4 would win last holiday.

@Desmonic: If you like the normal S6 more in the hand then by all means go for it. They're essentially the same thing, the Edge is just prettier. I'd say it's quite fine in my hands so far, but I kind of miss boxy edges.

My prediction is that Microsoft will sell the most during the Holidays again unless Sony does a price cut. Multiplat marketing is nice, but Sony still is lacking in heavy hitters department since Uncharted got delayed. My best guess is Sony will announce an Uncharted Trilogy Remaster at E3 and bundle it for the Holidays.

Slim... very slim. Aside from the whole 2013 E3 fiasco which gave Sony an impressive advantage from the get-go, the X1 hasn't been doing very well in making it particularly distinguishable. As far as marketing and hype, Sony have it all in their favour.

If sony gets Star Wars Battlefront microsoft might just wanna pack it up an retire after halo 5

just cancel quantum break and platinum games title and just have halo 5 be the xb1's swan song as they go out business or something

@Blabadon: Eh, not going for any right now :P Was just trying the demo units out of curiosity and it was a bit odd that the "premier" design felt worse (to me) than the regular one is all.

@Lionheart08: What if a 299$ PS4 becomes a reality? I mean the consumers already value the PS4 at full price more than a cheaper XB1 and WiiU. A price cut could (possibly) have a major effect in favour of the PS4 (or not at all, of course).

Bet the Wii U would sell gangbusters if Nintendo took that loss and dropped it to $99 Gamecube style.

Oh, if Sony cuts it that low then it's in the bag for them. I'm just doubtful that it'll happen because the PS4 has more or less been consistent since launch. Sony is going to want to squeeze as much money as they can while their momentum is still going.

That doesn't make any sense. Why would losing money on a current generation console help them in the next generation?

Nintendo needs to make a product that appeals to either a wide variety of consumers (like the Wii) or they need to steal the hardcore crowd from Sony and Microsoft. The only way they steal customers from the competition is by finding a good balance of power and software. Selling the Wii U at a loss isn't going to improve their image in any way. The casual COD crowd will continue to dismiss Nintendo because of "lol Nintendo" and the rest of the people will continue to have no idea what the hell a Wii U is.

Nintendo is better off just doing what they are with the Wii U. But they better have their "A Team" working on something behind the scenes to change their image to both consumers and 3rd party developers. Because another generation like this one would be disastrous for the big N.
