Now That We Know Xbox One X Is A Xbox One Pro, How Will Microsoft Explain The Ridiculous Price?

$500.00 plus Live, game, and tax will be almost $700.00. I have no idea who will pay that but I'm out.

PS4 slim and Xbox slim will be both under $250.00. Xbox One X doesn't have a single title that says WOW. Am I missing something? X seems like a huge misstep. What are other people's opinions?

Well they've always said its a premium system, they aren't expecting it to outsell the S.

So whose sleeper alt account is this?... Then you can wait till its release & see whether or not it will sell at its price or not. If it doesn't sell..you can poke fun at it...but if it sells well...then joke's on you. It will probably sell well in AU for $649AUD....no way you can build a comparable or better PC in Australia at that price. :P

Quite amusing isn't it? Losing every NPD more or less is funny, since the Switch release it is last every time. And globally gets battered sales wise, but the MS heads decide to release the X, completely fucking brain dead.

MS has 2-in-1 tablet/ultra books and laptops for mobile DirectX gaming. Wait for AMD Raven Ridge SoC to deliver 2-in-1 tablet/ultra books form factor with XBO level gaming.

It will have price cuts and be bundled with free games, extra controllers and XBL cards like the old Xbone was within a few months.

Wondering where your stupid post is on this? At least on Xbox One I can get EA Access and Game Pass and get ~120 games. On PS4 if I can't afford a full game I can stream a game PSNow because that's a good value....

It's a Faux4k machine with no exclusives for $100 more than the Pro. So yeah it certainly makes no sense. Microsoft is still making shitty decisions. Only their most fanatic supporters still defend this crap.

Well the X1X is a better value then the PS4pro. Especially if you have a 4k TV.

It's $500 for the system, plus Live, plus Game, plus a 4k TV to see the difference, plus entertainment stand to place all your stuff, plus a comfy chair or couch to sit in(you can save the cost if you sit on the floor though??), plus your internet service bill(unless you don't wanna play online), plus electric bill cause (you need that to power the system), plus rent/mortgage(cause you ain't playing that shit on the street) we are moving to $3,000+ price range, X1X just isn't worth it

The most powerful console ever created is still months away from release, so for now people see it discussed everywhere they will usually go read up on it in mainstream media sites, etc and get a more informed opinion there. The real feedback will be when it releases and people will have it in their hands.

They've already justified the price. Whilst high, it's not exorbitant, and the components are pretty justifiable. The issue with many is that it's the most expensive on the market, but it's designed for enthusiasts.

The jump from the XB1 to the XBX is bigger than the jump from PS4 to PS4 Pro.....and the jump from the PS4 Pro to the XBX is also a good leap. So shut your cooter.

Logic is flawed here. Most people who get this likely already have xbox live, and won't be buying some mandatory game since it plays every single xbox one game already. The price will be $500 not $700, stop trying to inflate the cost. Also, if you already have xbox one controllers, you don't even need to buy new ones for this console. :P

I'm willing to bet that the advantages that the x1x version of said multiplat will have over the pro is a higher resolution, and maybe minor/moderate increase in detail. Some may even have a more stable framerate, however the differences will be moderate at best.

lol I have a surface pro, and use a Surface book all the time. Don't compare them to a switch, that's just straight up dumb.

I am talking about console specs....what the devs are able to do is another story. But I would still rather have higher resolution and assets, not bad for an extra $100

Eh, it is what it is. Despite many thinking it would release for $399 at launch, $499 was the more reasonable guess it seems all along.
