I think you're plain and simple wrong :| If PC gaming is dead then you should tell Intel, AMD, ATI, and Nvidia to stop making game specific hardware. But I'll let you in on something.. THEY WON'T. You know why? They are making A LOT of money off of PC gamers. So because consoles don't get Crysis, STALKER, Star Craft 2, Flight Simulator X, etc, does that mean console gaming is dying? No.
Do you know why Madden isn't on PC gaming? That's because Sports games don't sell well on the PC. It doesn't appeal to the PC gamer audience. Madden used to be on the PC, but it never sold well so it was canned after a while. Shooters, MMORPG's, RTS's, flight sims, and sim games in general are what sell on the PC, that's why you see a flood of them in the PC game library.
If you like playing sports games, fighting games, and platformers then get a console. If you like playing RTS's, Sims, MMORPG's, and Shooters then get a PC, it's as simple as that. You see what happened there? PC games and console games cater to different audiences.
