That's one fine looking N64 game :P

Haha, yes it is.
I cannot get excited about this game despite being a pretty big Zelda fan; TP was so unimpressive for me.
Good thing this game has way more going for it than TP ever didHaha, yes it is.

It looks ugly and poor.......too bad that this game it is on Wii.It could be a lot better on the PS3&XBOX.AtariKidXTrolling? On topic, blurry stills don't do the game justice. Zelda's always been known for its style / environments rather than graphics quality.

this is probably my least hyped zelda game ever, and I don't know why. Maybe there's just too much to play right now.

Huh? OOT? MM? TP?
[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"]Don't worry, it will look a lot better in 1080p.nintendoboy16No, it won't. Well i disagree. Higher resolution and you have a sharp looking game with a beautiful art-style.

You would have to rebuild the game COMPLETELY.

idk. Besides the higher-res, I don't think they would pick a different art-st1le.
Who ever took those pics need a MUCH better capture device. Pics look like its interlaced :P

Well that's how it looks on a real console. Most console shots are bull-shots.

That's why Wii games look like junk on an HDTV, even with that upscaler.

I'm not talking about 1080p TV's, but the game being rendered in 1080p. Like in a WiiU remake. Or...well...you know

Not even porting it to a higher tech console makes it work.[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"][QUOTE="nintendoboy16"] No, it won't.nintendoboy16Well i disagree. He's to that program that's named for a creature in the ocean. The thing that natively renders it in higher resolutions.
It certainly will look better in 1080p and some SSAA/FXAA

It will look (and run) better if it was rebuilt for that higher tech system (what do you think Nintendo did with Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars for 3DS). Really, just upscaling the older game doesn't help AT ALL.It will look (and run) better, if it was rebuilt for that higher tech system. Really, just upscaling doesn't help AT ALL.nintendoboy16
That it would, but "that thing" doesn't upscale them. It renders them in whatever resolution you set it to. Just like a PC game.
[QUOTE="racing1750"]stunning graphicsAzatiSAre you serious or ? lol :)
Mind telling us what isn't stunning? It has quite the art style.

umm no thats not how it will look like on a TV. Idk what kinda of TV you have, but Wii games on my TV look very good aside from the jaggies.
How can anyone say these pics look good? The textures are very blurry. I know the textures in Wind Waker and TP were somewhat blurry close up, but the textures here look even worse.
I'm more excited about the entire layout of this game.
They said it'll be like Metroid Prime, meaning that there's going to be like Short Cuts and stuff.
Who the heck cares about Graphics if I'm going to have a Game that has the Same Layout as Metroid, Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Dark Souls!
you should go back and play TP. Certain sections of hyrule field had n64 textures. As for WW, the textures were less detailed than this because of the cell shaded art directionHow can anyone say these pics look good? The textures are very blurry. I own TP. The textures in that game aren't worse than the pics the TC posted of SS, even with composite cables. I know SS will look better in motion. I've seen a few videos. But strictly going on the pics the TC posted, they the textures have the same blurry quality as a lot of games on N64. Maybe just bad quality pics.
Meh, nothing we haven't seen before.
The pictures can be blurry as hell for all I care, show me something that hints at interesting content, and whatever my opinion towards the graphics of the game will get shrugged off entirely--even when looking at some of those N64 textures :P.
And there are still quite a few visual cues that I'm not liking. I still feel like the environment is a bit empty at times. I have nothing against the art-style of the game, since I actually kind of like it, but some of the environments still feel like they're missing something. I'm all for Nintendo to try to do the game in the series with the most content, they should just make sure a lot of the game doesn't end up feeling empty in the end, due to how they wanted to put as much stuff in it as possible. Remember Nintendo, like you keep telling us, substance over quantity.
I'm interested in seeing the changes they will bring to the series, and even some of the footage has kept me interested enough to get the game. But so far, it's still a question mark on how much I think I'm going to end up enjoying it. Nintendo still hasn't showed us barehand, some of the features that supposedly make me interested in this game--what breaks it appart from the other Zelda titles. Information is all fine and dandy, but I need more, and apparently I'm going to have to wait for reviews until that happens.
I dont know why people are excited for this game, every thing I have seen on it looks like crap. I guess there really is no choice, not much else to look forward to on the wii.
