New Shenmue 3 trailer from Gamescom!

It really does have that Shenmue 1 & 2 feel, which is great. We're just 3 months away, SW. Are you excited? Thoughts on the new trailer?

I'm not sure if you would like it. Shenmue is more of a life simulator.

Recently replayed 1 and 2 and felt they aged quite well. Looking forward to seeing the conclusion to the story.

It really needs to have better gameplay than the previous 2 imo.

@robert_sparkes: It's not the conclusion. This game is only taking us to the 40% mark of the story.

Definitely looks very similar which I think is a good and bad thing. I think the game will be decent, but it definitely suffers from being a KS and so-on. I loved Shenmue and never got to play the second, so i've been looking to play through the remasters.

Really looking forward to it. Shame Deep Silver sold it out for a big bag of money but I've waited so long already, another year is nothing.

Yea. It seems like this game will do well with existing Shenmue fans. Hopefully they can generate enough money so that they can make a sequel that will appeal to modern gamers as well.

It's great to see Clayfighter make a comeback.

It actually looks better than I was anticipating. I'll keep an eye on it, but probably just to see where it ends up...

That trailer made me laugh. I don't have any nostalgia towards the series and I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but dude. That looks bad. Maybe it's supposed to? I dunno.. Never played Shenmue. Never will. :P
