New Nintendo Direct 9/6 at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET (delayed due to earthquake)

Following up on speculation regarding a new Nintendo Direct, Nintendo itself has now announced the presentation. As was rumored, the presentation will be hosted tomorrow.

The broadcast will go live at the following times:

Nintendo will be covering games for both Switch and 3DS during the 35-minute presentation.

– 3 PM PT

– 6 PM ET

– 11 PM in the UK

– 12 AM in Europe

Update: Because of a major earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, Nintendo decided to delay the recently announced Nintendo Direct. Stay tuned for when a new date is announced.

Hopefully some news on 2019 titles (Metroid please) and the online service, but expecting a lot of time wasted on Mario Party.

Hopefully they'll give us some release dates for the 'final' 3DS RPGs - Persona Q2, Etrian Odyssey Nexus and Etrian Mystery Dungon 2.

Not really sure what to expect from tomorrow’s Direct. It might be mostly focused on their online service but even if that’s it I’m still interested in seeing what they will do for it.

Let's hope we hear big things rather than the same old Super Smash Bros, Pokemon or other typical Nintendo title.

By the way, where are you moving the goal post at the end of next month when Nintendo updates shipment numbers and it's above GameCube? I'm assuming to N64 or maybe original Xbox if you want to get really silly, but I'm curious.

Smash 3DS won't exist unless you mean the 3DS game? No, it won't happen.

I bet you Persona Q2 for the 3DS and a Port of Persona 4 or 5 gets announced for the Switch.

I hope everyone pulls together and they can get back on their feet soon.

Whenever that is, looking forward to the direct. I'm guessing some dlc updates, the NSMBU port announcement, updates on Pokemon and Smash, and hopefully a surprise or two.
