Naughty Dog is making a stand alone multiplayer game

They are probably still working on it. Once it is not Uncharted, I am interested.

I've been waiting for them to do something big other than Uncharted or TLoU for a while. Whatever it is, I hope it's horrific, like TLoU viscerally intense but without all of gut-turning agenda crap.

@wandering_halls: Agreed but if the focus is competitive and not co-op than I'm out. If it's co-op, I'll keep an eye on it.

ND went from my favorite dev to me not really caring about their experiences since they dropped Uncharted.

Sounds good, but when i see ND+just began hiring, how am i supposed to be excited for something that won't be released for 4 plus years?

I feel you on the co-op. Naughty Dog was also a dev that was more favorable to me in the past but they took a new direction. Which is great for the gamers that prefer the current focus but it would be nice to see a deviation from the current formula.

Maybe it's the TLOU multiplayer.

Hopefully it's not as bog standard, pretentious and boring as everything else they've made past 2011....doubtful though.

Using much of what they achieved in TLoU2 there's potential for a slower paced, methodical, multiplayer game that ends up being a good surprise.

Yeah but I'm not sure a multiplayer game is the right direction :P PS: I rarely enjoy MP games. Unless it's split-screen.

@Epak_: true. i play all most of my games offline. but ND can be over ambitious at times. only time will tell if its good or bad.

If it's 3rd person pvp shooter I'm out by default
