The company was in the top 10 in each of the ranking’s five component categories except customer satisfaction. It was seventh in employee engagement and development, third in financial strength, first in innovation, and fourth in social responsibility.

Apple was 2nd on the overall list with a score of 83.2, followed by IBM (80.9), General Motors (80.7), Whirlpool (78.9), Nvidia (78.5), Intel (78.4), Amazon (77.9), Johnson & Johnson (77) and Mastercard (76.6) to round out the top 10.

Can't stop the juggernaut. MS is apparently running like a well-oiled machine. I'm excited to see where they'll take us in the video game industry.

Its clear that those that rank it, don't play video games.

MS' gaming division must be tiny compared to the rest of the company. They've lost a bit of senior leadership this year in gaming, but I guess everything's fine everywhere else.

It's miniscule in comparison to office products and services, server and cloud products and services, and windows.

With all the success in other divisions, they can't even release a single exclusive worthy of a trillion dollars company.

The survey was conducted by the Claremont Graduate University’s Drucker Institute. Never heard of the Drucker Institute before, but Claremont Graduate University is located in Claremont, California (which I used to live for more than a decade). It is a member of the Claremont Colleges which includes five undergraduate and two graduate institutions of higher education.

I have been longtime fan of Microsoft. Bought my first Windows PC in 1994 and absolutely loved it. Plus I love Xbox as well.

Thats good to hear. I just wish their consoles would be ranked number 1 sold for each month, instead of 3rd place All the time .

Idk if its relevant to gaming but I think that is great. There a lot of staff working for MS probably tens of thousands and they should feel they are treated well.

Microsoft has a better credit rating than the US government... Soooo..... It's not like it's a poorly run monster.

As an investor in micorosft I'm mostly excited about what's to come. They have grown beyond windows in significant ways. In a less volitile economy I believe we'll see Microsoft flying high.

I am at 112h in Ragnarok doing a 100% run, and still not done. This game offers more gameplay than most of your exclusives. Sad.
