What are your picks for games that flew under the radar but were awesome?
For me, off the top of my head:
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway
Super Meat Boy
Chromehounds (until the online play was cancelled recently)

I'd like to add Folklore Alpha Protocol 3D dot game heroes Muramasa the demon blade The darkness Mirror's edge I might be forgetting some. The Last Remnant
Valkyria Chronicles
Mount and Blade
PurpleMan5000
Singuarlity, a great game that was forgotten almost straight away.MushroomWig
Yeah. I agree on this. No one talks about it anymore since it first came out.
YES! Chromehounds was awesome. Too bad they're not making a sequel and too bad there's not more games like it.What are your picks for games that flew under the radar but were awesome?

I just want to add Shadowrun. It was criticized for a lot of reasons (most of which were good reasons), but it was the most awesome online multiplayer fps I've ever played. It just had a layer of strategy and intensity that every other game lacks.
Condemned CO
Crackdown
Fable II
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2
MLB the Show (great reviews, but best sports game EVER!)
Geometry Wars
Very much agree with TLR, I played it on PC at least, where they fixed pretty much every issue, has my favorite RPG combat system this gen, managing the big parties is pretty awesome. The exploration aspect too is pretty nice. The Last Remnant
Valkyria Chronicles
Mount and Blade
PurpleMan5000
[QUOTE="megaspiderweb09"]over-rated if anything. With the amount of hate it gets, I'd say he's right. ps: I think he's talking about the first one.Uncharted is very underrated here on SW:evil:

Yeah, I know he's talking about the first one. 6-7 hour campaign with 0 replay value, terrible gunplay, automated platforming and simpleton puzzles. Not to mention the last boss fight was downright abysmal. 8.0 is more than generous. Good graphics for the time though.Uncharted is very underrated here on SW:evil:

I'd go with Lost Odyssey. It's better than what critics gave it but not as good as some gamers make it out to be.
- Kameo
- Elemental
- Risen
- Drakensang
- Alpha Protocol
- Alan Wake and Heavy Rain: I think they both caught to much flack for so called FLOPPING. Two consoles games I really enjoyed.
- Fallout New Vegas: This is a million times better then Fallout3 imo, actually feels like a real fallout game and there is so much to do! So many mods to.
- Too Human
- The Darkness
- Condemned
- The Last Remnent
- Mask of the Betrayer

The first one deserved it's score. Too many chapters felt like you were just walking forward to trigger the next gunfight, with bullet sponge enemies.Uncharted is very underrated here on SW:evil:

Twilight princess is underrated as **** on GS, don't know why though.
Gothic 3 >>>>>>>>> Every Elder Scrolls game, yet people tell me Oblivion is good. Gothic 3 is badly underrated, and it's NPCs were actually life-like.
What els.. Ah, Mount & Blade, the most entertaining combat ever, tons of mods. Massively underrated.
Alan Wake, The Darkness, Saints Row 2, GhostbustersKC_Hokieghostbusters was fun, but i think the storyline was too wacky. even for ghostbusters.
Mirrors Edge
Uncharted 1
Test Drive Unlimited
Need For Speed Shift 2
Tales of Vesperia
Metroid: Other M (well...it gets too much hate lol, although it could have been so much more)
These are all generally well received games but I feel that they were all easily GOTY contenders.
Metro 2033
Borderlands
Just Cause 2
