Most satisfying gun in a game, EVER

i think the gears of war gnasher is the most satisfying, nothing quite like it. the weapons in gears feel great in general

Replying via my phone, so embedding videos or images is difficult at best. Three projectile weapons have given me a feeling of sheer satisfaction and only three.

1. Shotgun - Resident Evil series

2. Sniper Rifle - various FPS games

3. Bow - Tomb Raider 2013

Bfg in doom and I believe the original Turok had a mini nuke that made the entire screen light up bright

the bow is class. horde zombie games not my thing so dont play resident evil much but the guns are very satisfying

Yeah, Gnasher Shotgun. That game has a lot of weapons that sound and feel awesome.

Dual AC 20's in MWO.

For me, it would be the shotgun in Fear 1.

The Flak Cannon, RazorJack, and Sniper Rifle from UT were and still are my favorite! Nothing was better then loppin heads of with the RazorJack banking shots off walls!

Bio Rifle aka "goop gun" in the Unreal Tournament series.....By far my most favorite gun to kill people with in games. Just to see that green booger bullet flying at people and seeing them melt is just satisfying lol.

I was waiting for someone to name FEAR. That games has some of the best weapons ever. The default assault rifle (especially in slow motion), shotgun, and that bolt gun that pins guys to the wall are all great.

Mmm TLOU's shotgun... so satisfying man.

2. Killing Floor Bolt Action Rifle
3. Revolver and Shotgun from Half-Life 2
4. Bullet Storm Sniper Rifle pretty much every gun in that game is satisfying to use I just enjoyed this the most.
5. Call of Juarez Gunslinger Rifle,Shotgun, and Ranger Pistol
6. F.E.A.R HV Pentrator, and Shotgun

Yes!!!! And Penetrator as well. Hyperblaster in Quake 2. And I'm sure there are a lot more I could think of but got to go now...

The Machina in Team Fortress 2.

It's a pretty cheeseball weapon, with the body shots and all, but it just sounds so powerful. And when you hit a headshot, over even better a collateral, ugh soooo satisfying.

Honestly I was highly impressed with the guns and feel of weapons on Max payne 3 so imma go with Pistols from Max payne 3

The sniper rifle in Halo. We used to play for hours in Halo 2 with just pistols and the sniper rifle. Good times.

The Shotgun in any id game. Most notably Rage. If you have a subwoofer or headphones it's probably the best sounding gun I've heard in a long time. Well, best realistic gun anyway.

I really like it. The sound, inaccuracy, and number of bullets required to put down an enemy appeals to me.

For chame System Wars. The shotgun in that game is insane.

It's the disintegration after shooting that makes me feel warm inside.

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight's concussion rifle. It's like shooting a kamehameha each time.

any video game that doesn't make a shotgun that's only effective at melee range is good in my book

The aperture science hand held Portal device.

The flamethrower in tf2, mainly because of the airblast which let's you reflect enemy projectiles. Reflecting a rocket back at a soldier is always satisfying.

YES!!!!!!!! I was torn but now this is my choice. Blood was one of my favorite FPS of the 90's.

Going to go out on a limb, but I thought the pistols in F.E.A.R. were very well done. Maybe not the most destructive or power weapon, but unlike a lot of games, you didn't feel crippled when using one.

Indeed it was. I remember all of those games quite fondly.

This stuck out in my mind, This game still looks mazing.
