Most Disappointing Games of 2007

I'm nominating Jericho and Manhunt 2

Undying was great, but Jericho was simply awful, almost laughable and did not live up to my expectations

And I thought Manhunt 2 would've been more grim considering that they rated it AO, and when they re-released it as M...I suppose I was expecting too much from this game

So what games do you believe were the most disappointing of 2007?

No actually Halo 3 for me. It did not live up to what I was expecting. The game wasn't "Finishing the Fight" it just ended openly. Also 70% of all the multiplayer maps are not fun at all. There are a few that are good like Vahalla, but it does not measure up anywhere near Blood Gultch, Wizard, Hang em High, Lockout, Midship...

That was my most disappointing game of the year.

Most enjoy it though, but yeh, up to preference.

For me.. Hellgate: London. Oh God I expected Diablo 3, I got ... an average online rpg.

Lair is probably the biggest flop this year though, gosh.. I don't know what happened.

1. Lair without a doubt. This game was getting hyped AAAAAAAAAAAAA by so many cows to be the Gears graphics killer.

2. Blue Dragon. While not being hyped as much, it was claimed to be the Final Fantasy killer.

Halo 3 without question.

but bu bu but it got a 9.5? I don't care, the game was disappointing.

You did finish the fight..

The ending basically left it open to another one starting, assuming you finished the game on Legendary. If you beat it normally, it has very good closure and ended the way the series started.

For all of you saying Lair, how long was it hyped? Was it even a big deal a year before its release?

Hellgate: London is the true dissapointment. With a legion of Diablo 2 fans waiting over 2 YEARS for it to come out (I among them) each new screenshot and amazing CGI trailer hyped this game into oblivion.

And then it came out. And sucked. Hard.

So Lair may be a bigger flop by SW standards, but in terms of pure letdown, HGL is on top.

I have to agree with The Darkness it has terrible gameplay and I was expecting some kind of evolution from Starbreeze Studios. They need someone to help them design their gameplay. They have graphics down pretty good.

BioShock and Super Paper Mario

liar is the most dissapointing game of 07 in terms of rating.

Hs is the most dissapointment i have had in 2007

BioShock and Metroid Prime 3. I expected both of them to be two of the best games of the year.
