Would have bought Blackgate for the PS3 if they had offered it. Tried playing it on the Vita, and it's too damn dark, and there doesn't seem to be any way to lighten the screen up. Oh well it's on the 360 for $10 so I guess I will grab it there.

Welp, I've been waiting to purchase Injustice Ultimate and now seems to be the time. Anyone have any suggestions on the Vita version vs the PS3 or PS4 version for a fighting-genre noob?

I'd get the PS3 version for local two player play as well as the likelihood you have more than one controller for the PS3. IF you have two controllers for both PS3 and PS4, then it's a wash. Handheld fighting games are not something I enjoy due to lack of local two player play. PS4 is nice, but it may require you to buy another DS4. I own Injustice and I too want this new Injustice GOTY version so I think I might get it, but I'm deciding on PS4 or PS3 as I have multiple controllers on both. Hmmm...I'm leaning PS4 for the tiny marginal bonus in performance (PS360 cross gen title).

There is something to be said about playing fighters on the go so. If that is how you play fighting games, mostly online and nary a person on the couch next to you, go for Vita.

Blah... that's my problem! I'm moving in a few weeks so I won't have a lot of friends over for a little while to couch coop. And I don't really play online either, especially with fighters which I don't touch, so there's that. That's why I waited for this price to get the game.

The convenience of portability is great but I hear the game is fairly cinematic and can't complain about higher framerate and resolution. Probably gonna go with dat PS4 version and gimme more to play on the system. :P

Yeah, I still have consoles hanging about, but I spend less time playing games on them. I have an X1, but right now am wishing it was a Wii U. I think the games contrast well with the PCs. What do you think about the Wii U post e3?

I don't think I'll get a lot of games at launch. Forza Horizon 2 looks good but at £40 plus DLC costs down the line, it's off putting now. I can just see how much I was milked last gen on the 360. Thing is I haven't even got a lot to show for it. Once they have your money, that's it, what you have isn't even worth that much. I don't know if that makes any sense.

I'll pick up MvC1: infinite combo and gold war machine edition. Maybe I can make some people angry online for fun.

I bought it for that price last year, but it's quite the classic. Reminds me of the arcade days. I liked it so much, I picked up the XBLA version just to have it for both crowds to play against (PSN and XBLA). It was on sale for $5ish on XBLA so I grabbed it again. :)

Yep. I remember in the arcades having to do crazy codes to unlock fast red venom, Shadow Lady Chun Li, Roll, super armored gold war machine, etc, but with this version unlocking them is easy and no crazy codes to have to unlock them. :) Plus, this game also comes with Marvel Super Heroes (the fighter with the infinity gems and Thanos as a last boss). Two games for one low price of $3.75. :)

Wow, some good deals. Unfortunately I'm in Australia so I have to bend over while Sony screw me. Most of those PS4 games you list such as Injustice are $85 here.
I'm stuck - I like my PS4 for ease of use of just put a disc in and play, however games are a ripoff. On the other hand I have a Steam platform where games are cheap, but I have issues running them on an i7 with GTX780ti. Watchdogs stutters, Black Flag dips, PinballFX2 has controller lag - I am sort of regretting the PC purchase.

So do I continue paying outrageous prices on PS4, or stick to PC platform despite games having issues.

I did not know MSH was included. That is one of Capcom's greatest in this series.

Nice surprise for you as a bonus game. That was another classic I enjoyed in the arcades. You can unlock Doom, Thanos, and a surprise broken and incomplete test character in MSH. You probably remember Anita, Donovan's little buddy from Darkstalkers. if not there from Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo or SNK vs. Capcom card fighters clash.

I know it won't happen with the Capcom Marvel licensing deal coming to and end (Disney's fault?), but I was hoping we'd see the game that started it off, X-Men Children of the Atom, then X-Men Vs. Streetfighter, and of course Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter at some point. Some DD collection. I have them all physical, but would have loved playing online with friends. They took the time for MSH, so I was hoping. Probably not, but it would have been rad.

and these dips in black flag, can you describe them? like a complete freeze for half a second then it starts up again? or like a 5 fps dip when looking at a complex scene.

your computer sounds like a wet dream, man. though sometimes i wonder if a large level of investment can make such issues seem much worse, ya'know? i guess the good news is you already have both systems so you can be dynamic about what you pick. 'best of both worlds', which are also some lyrics from midnight oil (from Australia, a really cool place :D ).

All the games have been heavily discounted multiple times on all major platforms.
