Well, if you want to play a next gen baseball simulator, you must own a PS4. I don't see how 8 is ownage either tbh.

This is the PS3 version though. So, it's even less ownage.

Definitely want to try it on PS4.

I can play baseball in real life. No need to play this boring game.

Must suck to be a cow. They have no games on PS4 or Vita and AAE sports games on PS3.

You must be young. Baseball is one of the hardest sports to play in real life once you get out of high school. You have to get 18 people together at a ball diamond and at least two of them have to be able to throw strikes.

Its not exclusive is it, but I'm excited for this game on the PS4, more so than infamous, because its offers something a bit different to my other games.

@PurpleMan5000: it's also the only sport where you can hit at 30 percent and still be considered a good hitter.

A solid score. One of the few sports series out there that gets a proper version each year.

I can't wait to see the PS4 version. The PS3 versions have always had very good visuals. The team is very talented and distributes the power of the console well to build a very immersive experience instead of just focusing on one aspect of the presentation.

This gen will be filled with 8/10 games, so much so that it will be come hard to take serious.

I got the Vita version and it is pretty solid. I am playing as a pitcher in RTTS mode and it's pretty fun. I figured I would pass on the PS3 version and play it on the Vita to hold me over until the PS4 release.

Yes we are so owned over a baseball game with zero competition....besides I will wait for the PS4 version thank you.

not to mention baseball equipment, 3 hours to spare on a sat/sun

since lemmings last gen kept saying "xbox 360 has the most AA-AAA library" or did most lemmings forget that already? its only been 6 months since the 360 was relevant.

the reviewer must not play too much rtts because that thing got extreme changes to better the experience. i dont know if he even raved about the cross platform game saves that transfers to future show titles . thats a plus so i dont have to keep making my rtts player over again

You do realize that there used to be a bunch of baseball game franchises and now there is only MLB The Show? Kind of counter intuitive to the point you were making.

Another world class, high scoring game to add to the already barn bursting amount available for the PS3. I'm looking forward to the PS4 version, which I'm sure will be beyond stunning.

Didn't say it was a bad series...I play it but claiming ownage over a baseball scoring an 8 seems silly to me, besides hopefully the best version will be on the PS4

Wouldn't I need a PS5 for a next gen game at this point? This gen is now current. I haven't bought a console baseball game in ages, but I may have to buy this one because its the last one with the Captain.

I disagree. Enjoyed exclusives like Knack and Killzone. Then you have AC, COD, BF4, NFS, Madden, NBA2K14, Thief, Metal Gear Solid, Resogun, Tomb Raider, InFamous, etc.

Games are usually personal preferences. But for a newer system it has a lot of good games. I have enjoyed Knack, Killzone, BF4, NBA2K14, Thief, and Tomb Raider (did play some of these on PC, but still great games and available on the PS4).

For the Vita...UNCHARTED which was way underrated. Unit 13 was also very good. But do admit it is lacking some games, which is sad for such a great piece of hardware. But now if you have a PS4 you can play those games on the Vita....Even via the internet, and it works great.

I remember when Xbox used to have really good sports games and their own studio. Unfortunately no lem here is old enough to have ever experienced them. And if they were, they were too busy bending over for Sonys shitty PS2. Apparently they just love weak hardware.

There are good games on vita just not many exclusives, Uncharted, Killzone, Unit 13, Gravity Rush, Sine mora, Persona 4 Golden, are all very good

agreed. plus in real life its way easier to apply mods.

want godrays through the trees? look at the trees.

Want to just hit the baseball over and over? use one of them ball launching machines.

Want to practice pitching? Go get some rocks and head to the Gaza strip.

It looks like the focus this year is on the PS4 version. For the 1st time I fell that The Show looks a little rough (PS3). I own the Vita version and it's been fun so far. Lets hope the PS4 version delivers.

Edit: Jeff and Vinny are by no means good/serious sports gamers.
