MGS4 here, by far. I just haven't seen or read enough about Halo 3 to get me hyped about it nor I'm a big fan of it neither..

Both, but if I had to choose one, Halo 3. I've been playing Halo for a longer time than MGS. While I think that MGS will give an amazing experience in the single-player, Halo 3 will be great online.

Halo 3 no contest due to MP and CO-OP. 

I've never been a fan of MGS' absurdly long and boring cutscenes and after MGS2, I don't think they could salvage it's convulted story.
