I don't think lens of truth ever says a multiplat looks better on PS3. Idk what they do for their comparisons but the games look a lot better on my TV than their screenshots do
Playing the demo now, finding that graphics are okay, certainly nothing spectacular. I'm also finding the gameplay rather... bleh.

It never looked spectacular, not even maxed out on a PC. That's the game-play, it's not gonna evolve... But the game makes up for it...With a lot of talking to people.

And the "games look a lot better on my TV than their screenshots do" isnt really an excuse but more of saying that you sit too far away from your TV to really see any detail.

They have an "out of the box" policy, in which they adjust nothing. This probably includes the console itself, which has various settings for the optimal picture, many of which only started automatically setting themselves in a later update.
I, too, often notice games look much better on my TV than in their comparisons.

It's not really a title that looks that good to begin with. Outside of some character models and a few environments, it's not amazing looking. In part because of the stiff animations.

The difference is so minimal it's nothing really to brag about. It's just cows were going wild acting like the difference from the two were night and day.
It should be priced at 50 like Uncharted 2 GOTY was, but the 60 doesn't surprise me from an EA published game.

Who agrees its better? PS3 version runs on Mass effect 3 engine, did you check the comparison video? screenshots wont tell anything.
I find it very hard to belive the stuff at lens of truth, just about everything they do is bias towards the 360 in some way, when just about every other signal site says it looks better there always the complete opposite.
How come Lens of Truth says 360 version looks better yet IGN and other sites say ps3 version looks slightly better out of the console versions? Also the shadows look a little better on the ps3 version but apart from that they are pretty much identical.
so are folks now not going to buy it because of tiny differences? heck, if individuals wanted the best graphics i think they would get the pc version. UnArguably

nobody is more credible than lens of truth when it comes to comparing games, you can spam all the youtube links you want, none of them are as credible as lens of truth or B3D,lol oh, and theres no such thing as the ME3 engine, it's just an upgraded version of the same engine used for ME2, the unreal 3.5 engine with the latest sdvancements,lol
The issue here is not how similar the 2 versions are, but rather how cows where going and and on about how the ps3 me2 would most certainly pwn the 360 version and signal the second coming of all that is honorable and pure in gaming as well as prove the supreme supremacy of the ps3 once and for all....um not so much now. Enjoy the me1 comic book.

Why? When you play games there's is motion in it you know. What about about the overall performance? Screen shots doesn't show you every aspect of how the game looks while video sources can.
BTW, both versions of Mass Effect look almost the same, the X360 version has higher contrast and that's why brighter scenes look better and more "detailed" (the PS3 version is just as detailed it's just that some of the detail in the textures are harder to see due to the brighter colors) while darker ones look better on PS3. But there are improvements on the PS3 version like for example the shadows are not as blocky and the overall image is less blurry.

Why is this even relevant? If you want graphics play PC. Otherwise grow a pair and accept that you will always have the less pretty multiplat as a console owner. This is an amazing game, I really hope that people could stop being petty and actually enjoy the title as an experience and not a slide show...

These comparisons weren't very relevant 4 years ago when there was some noticeable difference between the 360 and PS3 multiplats; now even less. People should be happy multiplats are plenty and of high quality this gen (more games for everyone!), instead of focusing on completely irrelevant stuff.
