It never looked spectacular, not even maxed out on a PC. That's the game-play, it's not gonna evolve... But the game makes up for it...With a lot of talking to people.Playing the demo now, finding that graphics are okay, certainly nothing spectacular. I'm also finding the gameplay rather... bleh.

I don't think lens of truth ever says a multiplat looks better on PS3. Idk what they do for their comparisons but thegames look a lot better on my TV than their screenshots do

You do realize that they have an entire section where the ps3 wins?http://www.lensoftruth.com/?cat=72
And the "games look a lot better on my TV than their screenshots do" isnt really an excuse but more of saying that you sit too far away from your TV to really see any detail.

They have an "out of the box" policy, in which they adjust nothing. This probably includes the console itself, which has various settings for the optimal picture, many of which only started automatically setting themselves in a later update.
I, too, often notice games look much better on my TV than in their comparisons.
Truth hurts. At least ME2 is getting out to a wider audience, even if it is ripping them off.lol looks like cows will have to settle with a year old port that doesn't look better than the 360 version. Have fun paying 40 dollars for 24 dollars worth of DLC and a lame comic.

The difference is so minimal it's nothing really to brag about. It's just cows were going wild acting like the difference from the two were night and day.[QUOTE="Grawse"]

According to these guys. Check out the link to see the comparisons. http://www.lensoftruth.com/?p=25602 Theres even a poll at the bottom where people overwhelmingly agrees the 360 version looks better. Im a bit surprised tbhbigboss5ak
Who agrees its better? PS3 version runs on Mass effect 3 engine, did you check the comparison video? screenshots wont tell anything.

that is all.
so are folks now not going to buy it because of tiny differences? heck, if individuals wanted the best graphics i think they would get the pc version. UnArguablyI wouldnt buy it anyway. The game still boring on PS3 imo, I didnt even finish the demo. smeh
did ign and other folks sit down and do a technical analysis side to side comparison? prob not. they probably just eye balled it.How come Lens of Truth says 360 version looks better yet IGN and other sites say ps3 version looks slightly better out of the console versions? Also the shadows look a little better on the ps3 version but apart from that they are pretty much identical.

Maybe not, but then again, the video that accompanied their preview showed a comparison where the two versions looked pretty much identical with a slight edge for the ps3.

i've always found videos to be poor representatives of differences between multiplat games. a direct in game screenshot is the best...Just like in sales, Cows and Lemmings are fighting for 2nd place.
Its all irrelevant because its simply better on the PC, so please, stop arguing over this.

nobody is more credible than lens of truth when it comes to comparing games, you can spam all the youtube links you want, none of them are as credible as lens of truth or B3D,lol oh, and theres no such thing as the ME3 engine, it's just an upgraded version of the same engine used for ME2, the unreal 3.5 engine with the latest sdvancements,lol[QUOTE="_Matt_"][QUOTE="UnArguably"]did ign and other folks sit down and do a technical analysis side to side comparison? prob not. they probably just eye balled it.UnArguably

i've always found videos to be poor representatives of differences between multiplat games. a direct in game screenshot is the best...Why? When you play games there's is motion in it you know. What about about the overall performance? Screen shots doesn't show you every aspect of how the game looks while video sources can.
BTW, both versions of Mass Effect look almost the same, the X360 version has higher contrast and that's why brighter scenes look better and more "detailed" (the PS3 version is just as detailed it's just that some of the detail in the textures are harder to see due to the brighter colors) while darker ones look better on PS3. But there are improvements on the PS3 version like for example the shadows are not as blocky and the overall image is less blurry.
It's not really a title that looks that good to begin with. Outside of some character models and a few environments, it's not amazing looking. In part because of the stiff animations.AAllxxjjnnyeah i never understood the fascination with me2 graphics considering they weren't anything extraordinary to begin with. ah well, everyone is different i guess
The demo may be an old build, for all we know.IronBassdidn't think of that, certainly a possibility. even if that is the case, people shouldn't be so focused on tiny details. just experience the great game finally and shut your mouth. hehe :P

These comparisons weren't very relevant 4 years ago when there was some noticeable difference between the 360 and PS3 multiplats; now even less. People should be happy multiplats are plenty and of high quality this gen (more games for everyone!), instead of focusing on completely irrelevant stuff.
