Did you ever play Diablo 2? It's not as grim and dour as you remember. Or don't remember, rather, since you probably haven't played it.

Sonic Ep 2 is also releasing on Steam in May.

Also you forgot Nexuiz on PC - May 10th(not sure about other platforms), Street Figher X Tekken on PC - May 11th, Port Royale 3 on PC - May 4th, and DiRT Showdown on PC - May 24th. All of them are on Steam.

There's a mod to make it darker, just go into options and turn the brightness slider all the way down.

I'm getting Diablo 3 and Max Payne for sho. I did enjoy starhawk, maybe I'll pick it up. I need something for my PS3.

Only mildly interested in Max Payne 3 and nothing else. Probably will pick it up though, I'll need something new to play over the summer before the fall releases start hitting.

It's like Valve didn't even try to make the game better..... It is literally just a graphics overhaul

It also doesn't help that there are quite a few quirks to Dota that exist because of the limitations of Warcraft 3. Well, I'm sorry Valve, but you aren't being limited by Warcraft 3 here..... It just feels like an annoyance nowadays in comparison to new moba games.

The community features of the game are awesome. It's like you enter into the entire world of Dota 2 when you log in rather than having to search for streams online, or go to a website for such-and-such. It's all right there when you open the game.

Why would you change the base mechanics at this point anyway? The only thing that has to change is overshooting PKs and going a shorter distance than normal. The beginner/training stuff also hasn't been implemented yet, all they have so far is a recommended item list. Oh and the UI just changed with the last patch... and what do you mean by more streamlined gameplay?

LoL is meant for more casual players. Alot of the depth from dota is removed with things like no denying and handing heroes things like blink and the such.

Same here. Just ask questions, use Google, use YouTube. The game is so incredibly simple to play, but difficult to master.

BTW Lycan is best hero! :P
