He clearly just doesn't know what a flop is. It did flop. It failed to meet it's hype of 9.0+. Yes it is still an amazing game; nobody contests that.

It was hyped AAA and got AA meaning it was hyped 9 or greater and got below a 9 therefore its a flop. Still 8.5 is a great score but it did not meet the hype. You're thinking of flop in terms of failure when its not a failure but its a flop. Flop and failure don't go in the same sentence.

Yes but as I'm sure lots of sony fans will tell you soon enough, within System Wars it is Gamespot's opinion that matters. Whether you agree or not, while you post in this forum you are forced to follow the teachings of the Almighty Gamespot as it claims to be the source of objective truth in such clearly subjective matters....So yeah Mass Effect flopped.

On here its a flop. People stick to GS scores only ok no more averages or using gamerankings or whatever. GS scores matter here. Lems dont change the rules now when you guys enforced it to the cows and sheep. it was hyped AAA and got AA here so therefore its a flop here.
