Well, it's looking to score decently so far. Still, can't wait to play it.

Where is a Microsoft Marvel exclusive don't they have money? If nintendo and sony can do it why can't microsoft pay a bill and get one made.
Ouch a 74% meta? PASS
you let scores dictate what you play?
wow
@KBFloYd: why not. Those collective opinion help to form a decision on uncertainty. you want buy MUA 3 or crackdown 3 its your choice, you may like or dislike those games but I'm not gonna bother.
I might get it once it hits the bargain bin.
There are too many other great Switch games to bother with this one right now - like next week's Fire Emblem.

The main complaints are that it is repetitive and the combat is simple, some framerate dips and combat readability issues, but it is seen as ultimately better than its predecessors.
So if you enjoyed 1 or 2, you will probably enjoy this one too.
What is interesting is that pretty much every reviewer seems to have some solid criticism, but also states they really had a good time playing it anyway.
Reviews are pretty much what’s expected for a game of this caliber and my purchase was never contingent on them anyways. That said, this is a day one purchase despite I'm a Marvel fanboy, I just want something new to play on my Switch and plus, love the way they design Captain Marvel's looks to be on par with the latest MCU movies. That alone warrants a purchase because I love Captain Marvel :)

It's rather pointless to contribute to review threads. Everyone's expectation is 95-100 for every game so when you get scores that are not that high people just call the game garbage. It's a stale cycle that goes on for too long.

I think its great if people love the game, more power to them. Me, PASS.

I just shared it because I wanted to see how the game fare in general. That's it.
About the same as the others then. Middling games which aren't really worth the time. Not niche, just really really average.
Looking pretty good. I enjoyed the previous two games and this one seems to have turned out well enough. Will probably pick this up after I get Fire Emblem Three Houses this month.
Gamespot gives every good game that they arent being paid to promote an 8, so there's that to take into consideration.
After playing it for an hr or so I have to say it has feelings reminiscent of Transformers Devastation or TMNT MIM which I enjoyed both. I haven't played enough to say how good or bad it is but I have played enough to know I want to continue and see where it goes. The rpg elements have a learning curve and I have yet to see if there are any collectibles (like the first) but I could have sworn I picked up an item on the first stage that said art or ark or something and the icon looked like the shape of Switch cart. I highly enjoyed that part of the original and will be bummed if it doesn't continue in part 3. Just my opinion but if this were on the other consoles rather than only Switch I could see the negative nancy types changing their tune.
My 4 (almost 5) year old says it’s a GOTY contender. Super Mario Party is currently his runner up.
My 1 (almost 2) year is still pulling for MK11
