I think it is a great option for people that don't own a Wii. I personally enjoy Mario Kart much more, but I haven't played Sega Racing nearly enough to give it an accurate comparison.

It's deeper than Mario Kart, no rubberband AI, requires more skill, better graphics and it behaves just slightly differently for each character. How is it inferior?:?
Deeper than Mario Kart? Come on, we are comparing arcade kart racers. These games arent meant to have any depth, and if you buy a kart racer looking for some, youre going to be disappointed with either game. Requires more skill. Right. I enjoy both games thoroughly, there arent enough arcade racers like this in my opinion. Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing has a really nice drift and trick mechanic, the graphics are superb, and the tracks are excellently designed. I would wish for a bit more variety, though. The game relies far too much on Sonic, but it is a lot better than SEGA Tennis. I have the full game, and I still notice framerate drops, which can get very tiresome very quickly. Mario Kart has the advantage of being silky smooth at all times, though that is probably it. The games could merge into one and would work without much compromise.Actually, It does require more skill seeing as it isn't based around luck and rubberband AI.;) I don't look for depth in kart racers but if it's there I give it a mention. Both are fun kart racers but Sega did a better job imo. Tracks are varied...streets, jungles, casino's, islands etc., not much of anything missing, I disagree there.
I agree MK is smoother but framerate isn't too bad, not enough to give it a mention though, it may be your console.
In all honesty a new Diddy Kong Racing is way over do. It had free roam, planes and water vehicles. I think we can both agree on this one
