Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is equal to Persona 5? Atlus takes almost a decade for a new game and still can't beat a racing game. :< Sorry Char, Makoto would be displeased.

This is what true desperation for games looks like.

Mario Kart is one of the most popular franchises in gaming history and this is going to be the ultimate Mario Kart game. There is nothing desperate about being excited for that.

I own all systems and have the ability to play any game that I want so I'm definitely not desperate for games and I'm more excited for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe than probably any other game coming this year except maybe Sea of Thieves.

When the only type of people that played MK8 where only hardcore Nintendo fanboys that owned a Wii U? What desperation is there when it's one of the highest rated Mario Kart game to date? Also, when this is the game that the outside market that had no interest buying a Wii U, but do want a Switch.
