Graphics were meh IMO. Maybe because it was full of jaggies or that my monitor is at a much lower res. Its at 1376x768 or something. Its native res is 1680x1050 but MS cant seem to get that right either. Still I loved it though. Had a real blast. Will be buying this!

It's the default setting but you can change it and have it as normal. Omg rly? That was my main complaint from the first, I rented it but I still have the demo and I never tried to change it, I'll go see if I can with the demo.
it's excellent! i love the sense of scale and the cooperative gameplay. I mean I have had plenty of "oh Sh!t!!!" moments when seeing that huge thing lumbering towards me! also love the weapons... that missle launcher and gatling gun look awesome when wielded. Getting in its organ was also awesome :shock: and not just get in, shoot heart, win game... you can't stop and shoot and you soon get pooped out!
Can't wait till my friends have this downloaded so we can get it on! :D

Hype just went from 5/10 to 8.5/10. When is the PS3 version being shown? I know it's gonna be at Gamescom, but is it tomorrow or the next day?
It's like the jump from Gears 1 to Gears 2. Not a huge difference...the textures are a bit sharper and there are upgraded effects, but what's really great is the scale of things and how much more is being pushed on screen. x_x I think the graphics are overhyped though...
My god its awesome! i just got back from playing it.
I loved it every one was all attacking it and im like hell with this! so i grapple onto its back and start blasting it with my shotgun then we get it down to its legs and i crawled inside its mouth and was taking out its heart and then it pooped me out!
I hate getting eaten by the thing, and i dont like the whole energy the whole group shares. I got alot of mission fail cause people kept jumping into the dark abyss.

I think so. Pretty certain Capcom said the trailers were from the PC version. Capcom said that those videos were running on a PC, but not that they were from the "PC version," if that makes sense. I believe Capcom did say that they were going to do a PC version, though. I think I read it on Shacknews shortly after the 360 version was announced, but before the PS3 version was confirmed.

Stop trolling! Uncharted 2 isn't a graphics king either. Crysis is. stfu. Having now played the Lost Planet 2 demo I can honestly say it looks better than Gears 2. That giant akrid looks awesome. Controls took a little getting used to (never played the first) but it seemed really fun. I also loved that the entire game is online co-op up to 4 players (or so the demo said) and that the demo was a multiplayer one. If the game looks that good during multiplayer, all I can say is Capcom has done a great job. I'd also like to say that everyone needs to go buy Shadow Complex. Right now. It's awesome.
