Lemmings, stop embarassing yourselves with the Sales Card

has anybody else noticed the ridiculous amount of damage control by lemmings these days? They have fell to the lowest common denominator,, the sales card. Last time i checked, we play games and not sales,, so who cares?

I think its pretty obvious why theres all this damage control. There are no 360 exclusive games of note in line for 2009. Say what you want about the ps3s poor start, but our game libraries are basically even now in terms of exclusives. Even if Killzone 2 flops,, its basically just a bonus game. Gears 2 was your biggest game, and it was bested by MGS4 and even with LBP and R2.

Do yourself a favour and buy a ps3, so you have some quality games to look forward to.. because it seems like all you have to play in the near future is DLC for GTA4 and F3 and an expansion for Halo3 hahaha .. or you could play sales

Gran Turismo 5, KillZone 2, InFamous, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, DC Universe and Team ICO game all say waddup

Also, Imsomniac will likely drop anothe Ratchet game, and apparently Jak 4 will be announced soon.

Last I checked, the Xbox 360 still beats the PS3 in terms of games by a very long shot, and not to mention has more exclusive quality titles as well. No exclusive Xbox 360 games of note in 2009 for the Xbox 360? Oh brother. :roll:Stevo_the_gamer

If youre gonna play that card, then the Wii is by a long shot the generational console winner. Saying that, nobody in their right mind would claim the Wii is superior to the PS3/360 in any way.

M$ is desperate, and clearly dont have enough in house talent to keep up with Sonys which is why they simply revert to buying out past exclusives like GTA4, FF13, Tekken, DMC4 etc,

I could give a crap if the PS3 remains in third the rest of the gen, because we'll always have the best games to play. Being in third is almost an advantage for the gamer, because it means Sony has to come from behind and produce great games to win over people. sorry, but i would look like a complete dork if i asked my housemate if i could take a picture of his 360. I was on the verge of getting a 360 over the ps3 last christmas, but backed out because I didnt wanna get a system that would likely brick. Id always be in suspense every time i turned it on.

As a Dreamcast Owner, I can honestly say that sales matter to me, but only insofar as they indicate whether or not a system is about to die an untimely death.

As none of the consoles on the market are in danger of that right now, I don't really care. Besides when a system that has perhaps 3 games I want to play is trouncing the systems that consistently have games I want to play (I don't have a 360, but that doesn't mean I don't want to play games like Fable 2 and up until last month Bioshock, now I have it) the sales card really becomes a non-issue.

I don't think Lemmings would be using the sales card as much if cows would have just shut their mouth last year and this year as far as claiming the PS3 would overtake the 360 in sales sometime next year and a few being as bold to say the PS3 would overtake the 360 in sales this year. Well that pretty much backfired considering the 360 is now widening the gap between the two consoles in terms of sales.
