Meh its still TBA 2007, it could not come out till 2008 at this rate, still too early to say though I guess. Besides it will probably flop hard as hell after the big flop that was the first game. I remember when it was still in development and reading about it with screen shots, looked amazing, then it got released and botched to hell, the graphics were terrible and the gameplay sucked. I pray to god it is actually good though cause it had so much potential to be great originally and got ruined. Forza 2 I forgot about, PGR 4 no one should really give a crap since the previous version came out not that long ago.

I also realize I forgot UT3, one of the most anticipated games for me this year, although it is multiplat. No one knows whether FF13 and MGS4 will be out this year but I can guarantee Metal Gear will be out by November since its TBA 2007 at this point.

And I was talking about franchises that are continuations of other games, not new titles that are single installments or hopeful future franchises series.

November at the latest for Metal Gear and Devil May Cry, I am looking forward to picking those games up for the PS3 for sure, plus a slew of other games, most of which are non franchise games mind you. Battlefield: Bad Company looks awesome so thats another franchise game worth looking into.

Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 have already been delayed, they were originally planned to be launch games.

Look at Gears of War, almost 4 times platinum, not to mention the other new IPs already out on 360, Lost Planet and Dead Rising, also platinum. Just terrible.

FFXIII will not be out until 2008. Cows are getting MGS4, DMC4, Rachet & Clank, and Killzone 2 this year though... 4 of their major franchises.
