Kinect VS Wii.

Wii has a AAAAE and Kinect has Skittles.

I'm gonna roll with Kinect on this one.

Addons usually dont sell out for god sakes none of Sega's endless number of addons did. The tech in Kinect is better but we know how that goes in the gaming industry. (Worst tech sells the best)Michael324

It's only as good as its implementation and though Kinect does have lots of potential I will have to say Wii for now. Why? Because there are games that actually exist that I enjoy that use the Wii remote and more on the way.

anything witha 500 million dollar marketing campaign will sell out at launch.(even ps move sold out at launch)Similar to the Sega 32 system. But in the end that flopped. Launch means nothing in long term. Only long term willl determine success.

Kinect is pretty cool. The whole body control is doing things that Wii always tried to emulate or even insinuate that it could do, but cant. In terms of motion control, the Wii is losing the battle it started.

Its not just Kinect versus Wii, its Xbox360 WITH Kinect versus Wii, and the excitement and forward momentum is now with 360/Kinect. I think we are going to see a lot of good third party support for Kinect versus the Wii.

i bet many people would like to try it, just like the move. They simply cant find any games.

Didn't kinect just recently get a game that scored under a 3 on Gamespot. So that makes the Wii greater then Kinect.

I haven't had a chance to grab my Kinect hardware, but both of my good friends have it, and they say it is actually very responsive. It can't be greater than the Wii yet, simply because the size of the library, but I would prefer getting Kinect vs getting a Wii. I'll probably get both eventually, simply because I already have a 360, and the features that Kinect offers impresses me, and the Wii will be purchased later, mainly for it's outstanding 1st party games. So, Kinect ismore impressive hardware than the Wii, but the Wii hasa lot more, andbetter games out right nowcompared toKinect.

The lowest game this gen I think.

Kinect or Move haven't really had a good launch compared to the Wii's launch month with the Raving Rabbits game,Red Steel,Twlight Princess and more. I hope they both get good games soon because I don't want them to be used totally for shovelware.

Obviously Wii is better. It has a ton of great games and you don't have to buy the Wiimote seperatly. Besides the Kinect alone almost costs as much as a Wii itself.

I've played all 3 and didnt like any of them. There are just more advantages to using a controller IMO. I cant even play FPS on the Wii because of the controls.

This statement speaks volumes.. I think a a lot of fanboys are loosing site of the fact that both the PS3 and 360 have motion bundles available for purchase. When you purchase a bundle and or component, you can't simply negate the core system's entire library of games.

That 'Wii is just a Gamecube with motion controllers' statement is as old as 'PS3 has no games' and '360 only has shooters'.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE THIS TOPIC ONLY COMPARES THE KINECT TO THE Wii. SO PLEASE STOP MENTIONING THE XBOX 360 GAME LIBRARY. PLEAS STAY ON TOPIC. Kinect has like two games worth playing right now and we have no idea what the future holds for it in terms of quality titles.

I'm optimistic that it will turn out better than the haterz say, but I'm gonna have to go with the one that has multiple years' worth of quality titles for now...
