Why is this feature removed. Halo has 4 player splitscreen and everyone can go online.

Killzone should go the way of Resistance. Not a very popular series.
jimmypsn
Killzone has more preorders than Forza, Ryse and Dead Rising 3 combined

Hahahaha. VGChartz. Dat desperation. lollol Exactly, VGchartz imflames nothing but PS numbers.
I wasn't expecting it. Killzone never had splitscreen. Although, it is something they SHOULD strive for. It's an important feature which stop you from showing your friends.
Who's stupid enough to play online on PS4. Dey don't got dat dedicated servers baby!
jimmypsn
Hahaha that is brilliant, that's like asking who was stupid enough to pay for online on 360 as they didn't have dedicated servers neither. You certainly fall under that category.

Correction, 3 did, at least for the co-op I can't remember about the actual online. But yes, it should have it.

Barely any 360 games had dedicated servers, probably similar amount as PS3 games.

I was thinking split screen multiplayer. I don't think this game even has co-op...?

Ah ok, then yes you are probably correct. And nothing has been said either way, I still hope it does have co-op mind, even if it is unlikely.

that is the case but that doesn't change the fact that yes both had dedicated servers.[QUOTE="_Matt_"][QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"] um yes it did...WilliamRLBaker

Well ok, let me change my statement ever so slightly. Probably 1/25 (complete guess) 360 games had a dedicated server, which is pretty much none, same as the PS3, and probably same as PS4.
I swear, sometimes I think I'm the only person in the world who enjoys inviting friends over to play video games. Besides fighting games, I think the last time I played a co-op or local multiplayer game was in COD4. Developers really need to stop this shit. If you're going to make a multiplayer game, you should make it local multiplayer as well.jman1553
I agree completely. I would love it if more devs brought back splitscreen, maybe bots and more co-op too.

Killzone 3's online community died a month after release. Yep real popular.Only because consoles couldn't render two games at once past the first year or two of a system life cycle. Compare what percentage of early Xbox360 games had splitscreen co-op to those release this year. It's 2013 people. The vast majority of games abandoned split screen multiplayer a long time ago. :P

Consternated
Interesting. I see it the opposite way around. In my eyes the beginning of this gen had almost 0 split screen games, and they slowly phased them back in as the generation progressed.
I'm more concerned about the apparent continued trend of noobed up weapons and player motion than I am co-op. Anyone that says its the same old player weight of the series needs to go back and play KZ2 to remember what player weight actually feels like. Hopefully they didnt screw up the class system like they did in KZ3. If they got that right this time, the player motion won't be as big a deal.
Looks like Halo will have to continue in carrying the fire.
jimmypsn
For MS maybe. Fortunately, Sony doesn't need KZ to come out every year so they can pretend to have some exclusives worth playing.
lets be honest does anyone even play split screen anymore? havent done that since time splitters for ps2stereointegrityI did quite a bit of it with Borderlands but I see what you mean.
