Just Cause 3: Gamespot Review: 8/10

About what I expected. Can't say I disagree. It's more Just Cause. Just a few niggles that keep it from being as explosive as Just Cause 2.

Framerate is the main problem(Ps4 version), but I haven't really run into bugs or crashing. AI can be dumb at times though.

From what I've seen this game looks more like a 5. The world looks barren and empty. The NPCs don't react to anything. It looks about 2 generations behind GTA V.

Well, at least the people at GameSpot seem to have a good grasp of what makes a game like this a blast to play...

I've been watching some gameplay of this recently to see if I'd bite for a new copy... I love the traversal, but the actual stuff you do in the open world seem pretty bland. Of course with that said, just cause has always been more about the fun you make on your own, but I think I'm gonna wait on this one...

me too I have never been a fan of just cause.

@sukraj: I think they have a pretty good ip on their hands... Tons of potential and ambition in the openness and destruction element... It plays like an action movie and that's fun. For me, it's that we're on the third game and knowing that the open world hijynx are fun, I'm happy booting up JC2 to get my fix... If this is your first just cause however, totally worth a shot.

I'll wait until they patch it up completely and when it's cheaper and then I"l buy it.

Started it up last night on the PC but Lara Croft stole my time.

Sounds about right. Looks incredibly fun and gorgeous but as expected it's just more just cause with more crazy toys

Never was interested in any JC games lol.

Not my kind of game. Could be fun for a few hours, just like GTA. But in the end, kind of meh. I get bored with sandbox games pretty quickly. The tricks you can do look fun, but when you've done those, there's not much more to it.

That´s pretty stupid as we a all knew from the start these consoles would use average PC hardware from day one on so how could you be surprised ?

Not too bad. Might grab this on PC if it goes on sale this month (which I doubt)... Though, it might be worth a dip at full price.

This game is a blast !

Having a lot of fun with the new stuff: the wingsuit and tethering stuff.

Driving feels bad though, but on the other hand flying feels really good.

Hmmmm I think I'll pass... as I thought about JC2, just not my type of game.

Even PC got very long loading times here and there, maybe not 15min like Xbox but still annoying

Just Cause games remind me to much of Michael Bay films. Not a good thing.
