I've been waiting on a sale for elden ring on steam but it hasn't dipped in price at all yet. (its been out a year)

I wanted to try it out a little bit I liked bloodborne but was kinda burnt out on souls formula is this game ever gonna go on sale or whats the deal? I know it sold a lot but lets see sale it can't be selling very good anymore.

is a GTX 1070 good for this game at all too I don't want a gimped version of elden.

Look at the bright side, by the time it gets on sale, they may fix the stuttering issue on PC.

I see it discounted on consoles pretty often.

I've seen there's some minor work arounds to alleviate it but it still doesn't fix the problem. Odds are, if it ain't fixed yet, it never will be. :P I'm also waiting for it to go on sale for PC. lol

Elden Ring came out February 25th 2022 so it’s only been out a little over 6 months. It’s been a hot seller so there’s been no rush for them to put it on sale yet.

You probably need to take a look at your calendar again, while you're at it keep an eye on this page as the game did technically dip its price before and is currenty on sale in some places.

Lol what, the stuttering has been fixed forever now... Was patched like 2 weeks after launch, complete non issue.

You sure about that? To my knowledge, the game does not pre-compile all the shaders to prevent the stutters unless you are playing on a Steam Deck.

Well that just killed my desire to pick this up anytime soon if that stuttering issues isn't getting fixed. Even on sale I don't want to deal with that.

Things have been good since like 1.04, obviously results may vary and it's not some pristine port, but the game is in a far better state than it was in launch month.

maybe he means physical, it hasnt been discounted on psn at all. That's kinda how it goes usually, horizon was discounted on psn to 49$, at least here you have been able to pick it up on retail for 30€, actually the lowest been 19,95€, lowest for Elden Ring been 45€

That's what happens to games that sell really well. That's why COD games in past have had crap sales that barely knock much off the price. Games like GTA V on other hand we see it constantly discounted but that's because they make a ton of money on the online. There will probably be sales on Elden Ring around the holidays but who knows what the discount would be and it might not be worth the wait.

Another thread on the front page of this very forum have it listed on sale for $50.. just saying.

No, I am waiting as well. I'm not a soulsborne fan at all but Elden Ring has my interest piqued so I figured what the hell, I'll give it a try when it comes down in price.

Good news is we have a Halloween sale coming up in October, and a Winter sale in December.

Bad news is Japanese games tend to stay at high prices for quite some time.

@zerothehero: Games that sell well usually don't drop in price in its first year. Like someone else mentioned, it released in February of this year.

I've had it wishlisted since release and don't expect a decent drop until next year or even later. If it does drop for the winter sale, it'll be $7 at most. Red Dead 2 didn't drop to 50% until 3 years after it came out.

Waiting months to play the ultimate masterpiece of masterpieces. Maindenless behavior indeed.

Y'all need to man the hell up and give your cash to Fromsoft, the only company that releases quality complete titles with zero mtx.

not many games sell 16.6 million units at 60$ probably not going on sell for awhile.

Yeah, I have the same card. Worked great. The game is badly optimized, but you can get steady 60 fps on around medium settings.

Not buying the GAME OF THE DECADE Elden Ring on day 1 is disgraceful. Shame on you OP

With all the games dropping price within weeks (because they suck), seeing one hold it's value should be your indicator that it's worth full price.

I've played it last week and I have seen minor stutters on my end but that's rare whenever I go exploring so the latest patch has really been a tremendous help.

As for Elden Ring being on sale, it was on sale during Steam Summer sale, you missed your chance to buy it half-price TC. But lucky for you, places like CDKey or GreenManGaming have deals so check those places out.
