Ok this is the 1000nd thread about this. Let me set the record straight it up to the gamer's preference. I love exclusive games so I have all the consoles.

It's not a nice feeling to have a launch console (that has been repaired once) and know that I'll probably end up having to buy another 360 to replace it in the future (when the guarantee runs out.)

is xbox360 a great console.... Yes it is (i really enjoy games on 360)

is it better than PS3.... its a matter of personal opinion.... Personally i prefare PS3...

Luckily having both consoles i dont need to worry which one is better...

Well usually Dumb F kids would like to come up and say HELL YEAH ITS CHEAP,FASSTTTTTT....BETTTER LIBRARY AND BETTER GAMING .....IT OWNS PS3......On ground realities the story is completely something different.

In my opinion, no it's not. Why? The PS3 has a considerably lower failure rate, free online, and a library of games more suited to my tastes.

Look even though 360 has a bigger library than PS3,but still the PS3 isnt lacking far behind.With upcoming mega exclusives such as LBP,Resistance 2,Killzone 2,Motorstorm 2,God of war 3 and alot more ,i dont see why NOT own a PS3 over a 360 !

Brand loyalists who owned PS2 may blindly opt for a PS3 just because its sony.

Casuals just want accessible fun, so they will opt for the Wii. Nintendo loyalists will buy a Wii for the Nintendo franchises.

No, I really don't think it is. For the majority of this year it's been my "Halo 3 machine". Luckily the 2009 lineup looks better than the 2008 lineup. Still a good machine though.

Yeah cuz the 06-07 multiplats were just poor ports, try to do some researc. Also who the heck goes by gs reviews?

a few good cross plats ? So what ? You alteast get them on the PS3 and thats what matters.Because in the end PS3 has many of its good games to look forward to.

As you said most of them are multiplats,example the two big shots on 360 Mass Effect and Gears of War.I fnished both on my PC in a FAR better quality than any 360 :) .

So the question is am i missing on something after owning a fairly good Gaming rig and a PS3.The asnwer ofcourse,HELL NO.The only game i miss out on is Halo 3 which i am confident that will be ported to PC.And even if it doesnt.I have alot better games to pass my time with MGS4,Crysis,Uncharted,Resistance and i look forward to Resistance 2,LBP and Killzone 2.

Still no..it doesn't destroy it, it is better but when this year is over they will be at least the same, if R2 and LBP get AAA and the other coming out AA, maybe the ps3's library will be better, but that depends on taste :P personally i don't like RPGs and if the ps3 or the 360 had the best RPGs in the world i still wouldn't buy them (the RPGs) lulz :)
