Is the Crackdown score going to affect whether or not you buy it?

I still plan on getting it because Character creation and leveling are the two best things to ever hit gaming imo. If you were planning to get it, are you still or are you giving it second thoughts?

Edit: I'm not buying it for the Beta, I have 56k right now.:(

No. Because it has gotten better reviews elsewhere. I tend to go with what the majority thinks, not just one site.

I loved the demo, it's as fun to me as Grand Theft auto is, except Grand Theft auto draws me in more than this game, the overall story in Gran Theft Auto is just plain better. But this game is fun, one I'll just pick up every once and a while to mess around in. Oh yeah, and it has the Halo 3 beta :D

I was looking forward to Crackdown ever since it was announced in GI, but after playing the demo, I don't think i will. The game got my boring really quick. And no beta is worth $60.

It's supposed to be available here by the summer. If it's not available by the time Halo 3 comes out I'm moving back to Philly.

I saw what I liked, and I liked what I see. I'm getting it, if it's a dunce, oh well. I'm personally very excited about the co-op support, I've waited a long time to see that in an open-world game like this. The Halo 3 Beta inclusion doesn't hurt either, though I could care less whether I take part in the beta testing.

Of course I'm not going to buy it... I never buy any game that scores less than 8.0 on Gamespot :?. I had to throw away Wii sports, because Nintendo packaged it with the Wii, and it got a 7.7 or something :x.
