Is Kingdom Hearts 3 coming this year?

Its listed as 2018 release but seeing as its been delayed forever I dunno. Has there been an official mention that is definitely coming this year. Its a must have for me.

Maybe, but it's going to be missing a few worlds, story sequences, and the last third of the game will just be a giant hallway.

But if you wait until next year you can pickup the Royal Princess Edition that will have all of that fixed and you'll be able to play as Donald or Goofy whenever you want.

Kingdom Hearts 3 release date is planned for reveal at D23 Japan in February and it will be sometime in Q3 2018.

Worlds include Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Frozen, Big Hero 6 and Shibuya

The D23 trailer will feature a flashback to Eraqus, Xehanort and Yen Sid. The game begins with players taking control of Eraqus, and Xehanort continues to be tempted by darkness. Back in the present, Sid tells Sora and pals to go to the Monsters Inc. world. Mike and Sulley are in trouble, and Sora is there to help. We see the Unversed enemies shown in previous leaks and a new wind-focused Attraction Flow based on a Monsters Inc. car.

The trailer also features Riku, Kairi, Roxas and Ventus.

Frozen reveal is planned for E3 2018

Honestly, I had fun with Kingdom Heart 1/2 in the old days, whenever KH3 releases late 2018, I'll be ready but for now, I'm too busy playing other games to worry about KH3 now.

I sure hope so, am really looking forward to this game.

If we take Square Enix at their word, then yes it’s coming in 2018.

Most anticipated game. Bring it on.

I imagine it has to come out before FY 2018 concludes. Nomura directing FFVII:R requires he be relieved of his duties with KH, in my eyes. And I imagine S-E is anxious for that project to make substantial progress which won’t happen while Nomura is distracted with other responsibilities.

FF15 took 13 years to come out. I'm not holding my breath.
