It's sad that people would say it's not social to game like that. But it's hardly the same as sitting next to the people your playing with.

They're okay, but it's not worth the money, IMO (especially if you own the games).

Most of the PC caffes I have been to have scared the hell out of me. Reminded me of a Crack Den. Rub the lotion on the skin or get the hose again type scary. But now that I think about it about some of those people did need a hose.

I have only been to one good one and that was in Toronto. And thats in another country.

I've played at internet Cafes. they aren't as fun as lan parties. party games for consoles are the best for mixed group of ppl.

Depends on whether or not your sitting next to each other or on opposite sides, there's also the constriction of the mouse and keyboard, which is much great than that of the controller. Add to that, that most PC games just aren't designed for a party atmosphere, as a result it's much more focused and competitive.

Besides, I'd rather bum around at my house most of the time anyway. If I played, WoW, however, I'd think taking my laptop to an cafe with wireless Internet would be pretty relaxing... A cup of coffee, a scone, and some Warcraft... Sounds like a lovely afternoon to me :)
