I know this is "impossible" but if you don't like movie games should you still get a PS4?

What if you simply aren't into movie games? I for one don't like them. They're just not my thing. I'm also not into shooters, fast twitch high intensity games I don't like. There are a lot of games I don't like such as skating games and basketball games, I am just not into every type of game.

My point is, if you are not into movie games, why would you care about PS4? The Xbox One X is by far a more capable machine and actually has a UDH blu-ray player. It also has the best controller by far.

Why would anyone waste their time on the cheap lowly grade PS4 unless they are movie game fanatics? I don't get it.

Yeah since your not into the mainstream type of games, you're better off just getting the x1x. My consoles replaced the VCR/Tuner, So there where Xbox really wins for me, is that it does it all. PS4 has only the basic streaming apps, and the media player can't play anything except for 2 select formats. Plus no 4k Blu-ray.

But movie games are very loose by definition while Detroit is defiantly a movie game some consider anything with a cut scene a movie game. Plus your gaming preference isn't every ones a lot of people like those main stream games where Xbox hasn't had a AAAE since Halo 5/Gears of war. Which is why it has done so well.

The way I see it, if you’re into flops get an Xb1x,

if you’re into playing nothing but games from last gen get an Xb1x,

if you’re into pirates who stare at the water all day since the world doesn’t have anything else to do, then get an XB1x

If you’re into Battle RoyAle that runs like shit, get an Xb1x

But if you’re a person who prefers games that are nothing but the best this gen has to offer , then pick up a PS4 Pro.

No it's not. This is a movie game.

You watch it then press the button at the right time. If your too slow you watch the bit about not getting that right and if you press the right button at the right time you get the bit about getting that bit right.

For these days, just replace the fmv with blank expressionless people talking slowly for hours and you have a movie game.

If you get to do things like control your character and move it about but have to sit through hours of a juvenile Japanese man's teenage fantasies about men with big muscles then it's an action-adventure.

If you like actually playing games buy an xbox360 or earlier console.

Your OP read like you're with buying remorse and now is trying to justify your purchase to yourself. So to be blunt.

Even if you don't like PS4 Exclusives, you still have a wide variety of console exclusive games that aren't available on Xbox, specially Japanese ones.

There's simply no reason to buy an x1, at all.
