I cannot imagine only owning a wii

You guys are mission so many great mutliapltform games:

UT3, DMC4, Assassin's Creed, Stranglehold, Tom Clancy games,  etc. 

Do you guys just all own another console or a awesome pc along with your wii? 

i have a pc and an xbox360.

no need for that other abomination.

360 is great for the more demanding multiplats

I only have a wii (ps2 if you count that), but i do not make it my mission go get another console.

The question is...does anyone who isn't 8 own "just a Wii"?   I mean, I have a Wii as my only new-gen console...but I also have a GBA, PS2 (with many games coming out I still would like) and a GC.  Also, there are many VC titles I plan to pick up in the future.

So technically speaking, I don't JUST have a wii...and there are way more titles I can play than if you are only considering new-gen consoles.   So to answer your question I don't feel I'm missing out on any of those games. 

Neither can I. Nor can I imagine owning only a 360, or only a PS3, or only a PC.
Nor can I imagine only owning a GameCube, PS2, or Xbox last gen.

Buy multiple consoles, or you'll miss out on a lot. It's just that simple.

PCWiiDS is all you need 

MEh, I have a Wii and a decent Laptop (plays CNC3 and HL2 well, what more do I need?) and decent Desktop, and I should be building another one soon enough... 

I might get a 360, but I think I'm better off just building a new desktop... 

A hardcore gamer (re: a hardcore gamer is anyone who spends their time on forums looking for news or arguing with others) probably couldn't.  Anyone else could easily just own a Wii.

yup neither could i, thats why i also purchased a 360. you would be missing out on WAY too much (RE5, GTA, Halo, Gears, DMC, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden, Assasin's Creed, etc...etc..) if you only purchased a wii.

but at the same time, i couldn't imagine NOT owning a wii.

I plan to get an uber-rig by the end of the year to go with my Wii, so I wont be"mission" out. And those games you mentioned I have no interest in what so ever, so even if I weren't upgrading my PC, I wouldn't mind.

Bingo. If you're not getting a Wii, your missing out on a lot. If your not getting a 360 or PS3, you're missing out on a lot.

I always own more then one Console because I can't imagine only owning one console.

I hate shooters, so most of the games you listed = Barbie and 12 princesses game to me.  Why hasn't there been a good next-gen RPG, other than Oblivion (I got for PC) for consoles yet?

Anyway, I was only GC last gen, so this gen it's WiiDS for me, and I get cheap PS2 games to fill in the Wii's droughts.

If you don't have a 360 or PS3 you miss out on Assassin's Creed, Midnight Club 4, the next Burnout, Virtua Tennis, Grand Theft Auto 4, Bioshock, Halo 3, MGS 4, Blue Dragon, Ratchet and Clank, FF XIII, FF XIII VS. Lost Odyssey, Unchartered, Resistance, Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, and the list goes on and on and on. You don't get a Wii and you miss Mario, Zelda and Metroid, big deal.

You're describing your own priorities.  Yes, owning only a Wii would not be appropriate for you personally.  However, other people have differing priorities and a different list of games that are important to them.

With PS360 your pretty much able to own every blockbuster game.  

I can easily imagine only owning a Wii this gen. Of course, I have a pretty sweet imagination. I can also imagine owning no consoles, or all consoles, or just a PC.

Funny, imagination is both easy AND free.

Regardless, I only own a Wii thus far, and I haven't even beat the games I have for it and the DS, so I'm not sure I'm ready to jump in, yet.

Not counting past consoles, handhelds, or "awesome" PCs, I only own the Wii right now. Currently it's all I need -- the PS3 games I want won't be coming out this year (and maybe not even next year), and my laptop (which I guess you wouldn't call "awesome") can play Pharaoh and all the other great old games just fine.

Although when Spore comes out, I might be in trouble... >_>

Why have i heard thsoe same damn games repeated all throughout thsi week? Most of which I could give less a damn about and the few I do care about are on pc.
