How many billions M$ spent on Titanfall advertising?

Every channel I turned to I saw Titanflop commercials, BET, Spike, ESPN, AMC, etc, etc...... fucking enough already!!

Even if it's annoying, it's surely better than any Sony advertisement

as much as paying for AAA scores.

Gonna be funny when Titanfall 2 isn't console exclusive. Right now EA is using the shit out of Microsoft. Not only did they get paid to keep it off of playstation but they don't have to pay for marketing either. If Titanfall ends up being as successful as the lemmings want it to be, Microsoft wouldn't be able to secure the sequel for themselves without taking a substantial loss.

Well now not everybody can be good at video games and that's where Titanfall comes into play. The Plsystation 3 had a gametype very similar to Titanfall. It was called Killzone 3 - Botzone.

I'm gonna lol so hard if pS4 ends up still outselling Xbone in this month's NPD.

Do quick to forget that the small spike in Xbox One games is a direct result of HaloForzaGears for the past three years. Sony could have more games too if they starved their fanbase for as long as Microsoft did. They could have just held onto their 2013 library, upper the resolution and called them next gen. I mean isn't that pretty much what Microsoft did or am I missing a retail exclusive that wasn't Gears of War?

The marketing this game is going to get is far from done. We're talking about M$ here. They make less games, but market the hell out of what they do make or sign a deal with. We are talking about EA here, who are marketing wizards themselves.

Once that deal was signed making it an Xbone/360/PC game, I knew it was going to be on heavy marketing rotation.

If only MS bothered spending some of their advertising dollars on making better games. MS is like McDonald's Sony is like Five Guys. XBox One is all sizzle no steak.

I'm not looking to impress anyone, or make a living at gaming. I just enjoy playing them, on any platform.

I like many games. Even liked Gears before it turned into a casual slop of Retro Lancers and Sawed Off Shotguns.

There are three reasons to like Titanfall.

1. Its easy

2. Its trendy

3. It's not currently on the competitions console.

I will play Titanfall on the superior device with better graphics. It is not an exclusive and any gamer knows it will be better on the pc.

1. Opinion and when you're playing against other human opponents it's going to be far from easy. The bots are hardly even a factor

2. Another opinion. So glad I don't share cause then I'd miss out on great games

3. That's not a reason to like it. It's on the PC so practically anyone can play it.

I think the real reason you don't like it is cause it's NOT on the PS4. I'm sure if it was you'd be singing a different tune as would all cows.

You really believe Microsoft owns Titanfall? I know Lems are stupid but I didn't know they were that stupid. The game is owned by Respawn with EA being a partner.

The game was always planned to be timed exclusive for Microsoft and then brought to the PS4 later. Respawn was already playing with PS4 dev kits and were getting ready to start a port. This was until EA went behind Respawns back and accepted a full deal from M$. They didn't tell Respawn until the deal was signed. Apparently they had the legal right to do this.

This deal was only for the first installment though. This move could very well come back and bite them in the ass because it gives titles like Destiny a chance to completely overshadow it.

So do you want to know who is the most pissed off about the exclusivity of the title? It's not the cows who are angry. Its the games developer.

Lol, no EA owns it. The Xbox deal is way more recent, but I've been following Respawn for years.

Poor, poor PlayStation only gamers. So it's come to this. Just buy an X1 Titanfall bundle and never look back. Please......for your own sanity if nothing else. I'm getting a little worried.

Fun and catchy like a Katy Perry song. Simplicity catches on easy and the most mainstream of titles are always the ones which cater to the non gamer masses. This right here is part of the target Titanfall demographic.
