So yet again im playing a game thats suppose to dominate on 360 Fallout 3. Im 2 hours into the PS3 version and 2 hours into the 360 version and it looks smoother on PS3 with better lighting. This is the 3rd multipat ive played on both consoles and all 3 look better on PS3. Do not reply if you dont have both consoles and have played the same game for at least 2 hours on both consoles. IMO PS3 is the winner in mutiplat graphical output. Anyone else fell the same way?

Games do look better on ps3. the mainstream audience doesnt know how to setup the hdmi settings properly so they think otherwise, and the biased reviewer (ex- GT comparison vids) will always state that the xbox gets the better version.

lol kinda off topic from the first post, but i have ps3 and wii, but no 360, but i spend more time playing the 360, because my fanboy friends actually fight over which one of their houses i go to so they can bug me about buying a 360. all we ever play right now is call of duty wow and gears 2. gears 2 is so underlit, i can't really tell what the graphics are like, all i see are shades of grey and blobs of redish gray, and cod wow looks five times as nice on my ps3. bullet holes are actually holes, not just little smashed glass paterns that appear everywhere, so you sometimes get cracks in air if you shoot a pole. I'm just glad they're finally done with halo. LETS PLAY MATCHMAKING! how about they go on a matchmaking site, get a girlfriend..... solve some of their problems.

after playing Burnout Paradise on my ps3 and then on x360 over my friends house i was glad i purchased the ps3 over x360. It looks so much sharper, better colors, better fps, better sound on ps3.

why do several reviews say the PS3 version has framerate problems, and sucky drawdistance? Your HDTV and HDMI wont fix that. Btw, PC version with the highres mods that i am playing makes ur ps3 version look like crap. In fact my PC version with countless mods make ur vanilla PS3 version without even the official expansion look like total crap. Now just get over it, the PS3 version of fallout 3 sux the most, at least the 360 version gets DLC. PC FTW.
If you cant see the diffrence from game to game in favor of the PS3 then i dont know what to tell you. PS3 is smoother more vibrante colors better lighting ect. its so noticeable sounds to me fanboy goggles need to be removed for some of you.

I think you may be in denial. Go to any credible major site, or read any credible major magazine and they all agree that the 360 version of Fallout 3 looks better than the PS3 version. On most cases the multiplats look identical to each other, but if there is a difference the 360 is usually superior.

Get your eyes checked. Also, the reason it looks smoother is because it is rendered at a lower resolution and scaled up. Also the lighting is not better, its worse.

In reality it all comes down to what kind of TV you have. Everyone I know who has a 360 has a standard tv because well...none of them have a high paying job like me. So far from what i've seen everything looks better on my PS3 because i'm the only one with an HDTV and HDMI. So when either side preaches about one looking better than other yet they don't even have an HDTV it kinda defeats the purpose of whining and crying about which one looks better on which console. Also if anyone of you who own both a PS3 and 360 and have surround sound with digital optical, have you guys noticed any difference with sound quality from your PS3 and 360? My buddy owns both and we both have the same surround sound and digi optical hooked up but his system doesnt sound the same as mine when he's playing his 360?
