How big Can Mass Effect get?

After Crackdown sold 400,000 in just 10 days, I'm begininng to wonder how big Mass effect will get saleswise.....

I'm saying somewhere around a million to 2 cuz this is as anticapated as Gears was, it's coming out at the beginninng of the month (June 5),and alot of fanboys drool over this....

As it is an RPG, I'm going to say somewhere from 500,000 to 1,000,000 in its first month, but I'm sure it's going to do highly well with the passing of time.verbalfilth

The developers were fully ready to put the game one more than one disc, and despite it's size, they didn't have to. Most developers will never come CLOSE to maxing out, or even going beyond the amount of size of a game that uses an older format like DVD-9 with Blu-Ray. Developers don't take the amount of time or care to make their games that big. Sony's studios will do their best with Blu-Ray, but third party developers with different publishers will rarely try to do so. Some will, but most won't.

Hmm...I expect 500,000-1,000,000 within a week of its release.If it was,lets say,on the PS3 with sales of the PS2,100mill+ units sold,most being casuals,then I doubt it would sell that much.

On another note I think Bioshock will do atleast 1 Million. I mean some people forget it's not a FPS, it's a mix of genre here, and funny some of the cows that laugh that it doesn't have online multiplayer. It's not a 100% FPS kind of game.

It's a system seller so when its all said and done the game will have sales of about 3-6mil
