Damn, this looks mighty good. Who will be picking this up with their PS VR 2? Unfortunately I didn’t get the invite to preorder 😭

No interest in VR. No interest in this game. Pass.
Brah say this in every single VR thread.
You're more invested in it than me lol
@uninspiredcup: Welcome to System Wars where repetitive comments from people are a daily occurrence. 🤷♂️

He wants to make sure everyone knows his position on VR 😜
@SolidGame_basic: Well you did ask the board who will be getting this so I answered and gave a reason as to why. It’s not like I go around spamming a thread. I just give a response and then move on. Unless someone gets triggered by said response. 😅
#SorryNotSorry
Call of the Mountain doesn’t look good to me. If you can gather resources and explore the world, that may save it for me. I have more faith in the games Cities VR and No Man’s Sky and those will probably be my first games.
I’m still hoping for backwards compatibility. RIGS and Eve Valkyrie would be amazing.
Yeah looks shit
Not getting it either tbh. Looks primarily like a pretty screen-saver. Super linear, scripted stuff.
If a had a choice between this and something Halflife 2 VR, wouldn't require too much thinking.
That's awesome. Let's hope Sony keeps investing in content for the device. I'm 50/50 on getting a PSVR2. I have a Quest 2, and it's awesome when I use it -- but I don't use it all that often.
The 2 horizon games I considered the best sony games ever made and I am interest in getting VR 2 never had a vr and only played it for first time this past July 4th at a friends house but sony will not let me order right now and if ps5 is anything to go by if you cant get a pre order you will have to wait years. So yeah sony get those pre orders up on like Best Buy, amazon etc.
Looks like it's on rails.
does it have to be open world?
Open world or on rails, its Horizon, it will be garbage.

nope sorry I have put in 130 hours in forbidden west. please play the trial version to see it for yourself. Im surprised you don't like it. it feels more like a souls game. hit dodge repeat.
playing that world in vr = awesome.

And some, like IP_Daily put over 200h in AssCreed, so your 130h isn't saying anything. People put a lot of hours into poop games.
@hardwenzen: I don't get it, why do you think Horizon is crap? I'm loving the game so far.
Its a perfect example of an open world game with absolutely nothing going for it. You're just aimlessly running around and kill stuff. Forget about memorable side quests or locations. Its just cool looking enemies with a good'ish combat system and a big open world for you to run in. The strength of an open world game (for me) is how immersive it could be, and for that, you absolutely have to have variety. None of that is present in these games. Same could be applied to the Spiderman games, but its even worse there because the combat system is nothing but a spam and the enemies design is as generic as it is in every superhero game.

I see no reason why it has to be open world, no. Weird comment.
I just thought you was saying it like it was negitive.
If it was open world it take 5 years to make it like forbidden west took.
wish forbidden west got a vr update. like skyrim did.
@Archangel3371: seems as though you’re not even interested in Microsoft’s latest console. Aren’t you gaming on an xbone?

again play the game. its side quest are different from another.
not like spiderman and same quest over and over again.
@randy_lahey: What are you talking about? Yes I am interested in Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox Series X. Yes I do currently have an Xbox One. What’s your point?

I played the original for many many hours. The sequel is the same, but with more enemies variety, better visuals and... and that's it. Even tho the story was praised in the original, i found it to be shit, and have seen what its about in the sequel, and its just as goofy with poor/boring characters. There is nothing for me to play here. Its not a good game. Its cool aesthetics are great to attract the eye of a casual, but when you play the actual thing, you quickly find out that there's no meat on the bone. I really do hope that this talented dev doesn't waste another 3-5 years developing another one of these games. They should be in charge of something much better. Hell, give them the Socom reboot.
I registered and figured if I got invited (Sony never invites me) I would get one just because I like how Call of the Mountain is looking and I am not hurting for money right now. Plus, with Sony announcing they have a ton of support for the system, I figured why not. Of course, Sony didn't invite me. Since they didn't, I will enjoy what I have, and get one when I can get it on sale. I tried though, even though I said I wouldn't lol.
