edit: Wow, press a single button at ANY time during the campaign to switch the graphics back to the original 2001 engine, absolutely awesome. I couldn't be happier with a remake, never thought it would be of this caliber. The game looks to run great too unlike in the original trailer, I can breathe relief!

I'm confused about the multiplayer. Is it just basically just 7 new Halo 1 maps for Reach? Not a seperate multiplayer component featuring original Halo 1 gameplay?

I much prefer the old style of gameplay (Halo 3 being the pinnacle of multiplayer FPS for me personally), but I'd prefer a vibrant community for now. Hopefully Halo 4 is a the next multiplayer successor & reverts to the old ways, but until then I'm happy with a bolstered Reach multiplayer.

Wow, $40 is way too much for this. I still have the original if I want to play it and this would have to be $20 for me to consider it, $30 tops.

no multiplayer is EPIC fail.

My jaw dropped when I saw this - so friggin' awesome. Cannot wait to play through the remastered campaign and relive good memories.

for campaign, its amazing.

for multiplayer, its terrible. its just reach multiplayer, not CE multiplayer.

but I'll play the campaign over and over and over again.

$40? : Halo 1 remake (just the first Halo, not the second, not a collection).

I know the pricepoint can change up to the day this collection comes out, but remember Halo ODST was announced for $40 at E3, and released for $60. Either way, even at $40, I will wait for a price drop as this is just the first game, a game I've beaten multiple times, and I already own. I got the Sly Cooper 1-3 Collection for $20 for instance.

I may pick this up for $20 down the road as I own the original Halo.

Although priced at $40, I did buy the Sly Cooper Collection for on sale for $20 which came with 4 games in the pack, if you including the New Sly Cooper Move game.

I ran 2v2's on XBC and had LAN parties every weekend. I miss it greatly. Thats why I play halo PC now.

lol?TnR level, on legendary,first room in the ship with all the invis and gold elites. that room alone is harder than the rest of the halo's combined.

I'm somewhat excited for this. However, my excitement is killed by the announcement of Halo 4. I knew they'd make it..... but I wish they just left halo alone after Reach. It was a good ending, just leave it be.

The truth now comes out. Halo CE came from the future (our present), and travelled back in time to create its own history in our timeline. Thus it's 10 years old from our perspective, but doesn't feel 10 years old 8)

I'm surprised you guys don't think this is a good value at $40, the amount of care put into the campaign alone w/ online co-op I think is easily worth it. The tons of Reach maps is just icing for me!-RocBoys9489-

It's great......for the campaign.

But I'd pay $200 for CE multiplayer with updated visuals on live. Just the multiplayer, untouched, except for visuals.

I like the history button idea. Seriously that is a great idea on their part.Dr_Snood
