Still plenty time for that to change.

It may just be too far off to confirm anything, really. Who knows, it could be for "next gen" since it doesn't seem from what was shown to be too far along at all.

That being said, Halo being the flagship IP for Xbox, not being on a service like GP doesn't seem too far fetched especially if used as a launch title for their Next Box like Halo CE for OG Xbox which I think would be very smart for MS to consider.

Even if it was included, it's a game I would buy even if offered on GP. :P

Hopefully it stays this way and this is an indication that true xbox exclusives are making a comeback.

@ahmedkhan1994: Not really sure how the lack of play anywhere makes the game a proper exclusive. It still shows as being available on Xbox One and Windows 10. If anything, this could indicate that the communities for the Xbox and PC versions will be separated and no stats will carry over between them.

i get this feeling it will be a launch game for the next XBOX.

if they hold it from play anywhere it might be able to help push the sales of the next xbox during its launch time

Buy the game once and play on Xbox One or PC and progress and add-ons carry over to wherever you play.

No "Xbox Play Anywhere" logo, but it explicitly states W10. It's probably not BC with past Windows versions. Though DX12 is compatible with W8 IIRC.

Or I guess just not cross-play, which might make sense considering the drastic difference between KB/M and controller.
