I think Halo 5 will sell more units. I also think Halo 10 will definitely sell more units in the 9th generation compared to Uncharted 7.

I would say I want new stuff from both but we already know Halo 5 is happening and Uncharted 4 is most likely to happen. Which is a shame, I ould love to see ND branch away from that now, it's getting terribly stale. I'm glad they took up TLOU though.
[QUOTE="LittleMac19"]If you knew anything about ND and Playstation then you would obviously know that Uncharted is pretty much done and they're going to move on to something else after the PS4 launches, duh.SonyNintendoFanThere's no way they would retire uncharted.
ND should at least make one for the PS4. I'm curious to see UC4 on 1080p.
Why do people think there will be an Uncharted 4? And why do they think it will be a launch tittle at that?Nengo_Flow
Why not?
Well lets go to the facts ...
Uncharted 2 sold better then Uncharted 3 meaning the fanbase didn't gravitate toward another Uncharted ... Uncharted launched on the Vita with naughty dog overseeing the project and failed to sell people on the Vita proving Uncharted is not a system seller ... as great as people wanna make naughty dog to be there games don't have longevity ... Uncharted 3 didn't have the same effect as Uncharted 2 and the recent Vita game didn't make people go run out the door for a vita ... there games loose appeal fast
Halo all the while is a system seller for the Xbox 360 console ... Halo 4 sold faster then any halo game yet proving fans still love the series and stamping 343 with approval that halo is in good hands ... its one of the top 3 or 4 games played on xbox live ... Halo 4 pretty much made Sony skip 2012 as they have nothing in there game arsenal to battle a halo
There is no question that Halo 5 will be the game everyone wants ... Sony games are fillers until the next halo comes out nothing more nothing less ............ cry more !
That is not completely true. There was next to no marketing for uncharted3 outside of the gamers venue. Uncharted 2 had a massive television push. Considering Uncharted is also one of the most sought after franchises for film, I can't completely agree with you.Well lets go to the facts ...

After doing some research, i found out Halo 4 was a letdown to fans of the series.

The power of the marketing campaign was made up of four major elements: Announcing with authority, Sampling through the Public Beta, Road to launch, and critical acclaim. We put emphasis on a strong announcement of the game, as we know thats when you capture the interest of gaming evangelists. We leveraged the spotlight of the Spike Video Game Awards, where we unveiled our announce trailer, and boldly announced our street date of 11-1-11. We also held a press event to share first gameplay. The next big campaign beat was the Public Beta. Although a traditional tool used by development to kick the tires on multiplayer, we see the Public Beta as an important marketing tool to get the game in the hands of our core gaming community. We supported the Beta with a combination of digital advertising and retail point of purchase. We ended up with over 1.6 Million players far exceeding our expectations. The 6 weeks prior to launch was our next critical marketing beat, as this is when we start converting purchase intent to actual pre-orders. For the Uncharted 3 campaign, we used a combination of broadcast advertising, a multi-million dollar national campaign with Subway and traditional PR. The perfect storm of unveiling new exciting game content, sampling through Subway, and :30 spots on key NFL games, generated the excitement and retail pre-orders.

marketing was there ... the fanbase wasn't
Exactly. There won't be another Uncharted. At least by ND unless on the PS3.ND will probably make a new IP series for PS4. They did crash bandicoot for PS1, Jak and Daxter for PS2, and uncharted for PS3.

Halo. That franchise is just ridicuously big.

^This.
343 will have to seriously f*ck up Halo 5 to kill the brand's selling power. But they messed up Halo 4 pretty hard, so...
Halo 4 was dissapointing. Well made, but too similar, formula needs to change. I dont think any of these sequels would bring much excitement, they are games that are over staying their welcome in the game industry with too many sequels. I havent played uncharted, but I don't think a fourth would do any good.

I really hope Naughty Dog follows their old patternts with with Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter.
There isn't really a pattern, ND had no control over Crash, Crash WAS going to leave no matter what, it was inevitable. There was a Jak game 7th gen as well, LF released after the 360 and PS3 came out on the PSP which was part of 7th gen.If Naughty Dog continues it pattern with new IP every generation we won't be seeing Uncharted 4, though that is a BIG if.
Halo would sell more, but it would be a crappy rush job, since Halo 4 just came out. Uncharted would have two years of development time.
This is why im more PC gamer. Consoles just repeat the same games over and over again.

How long has World of Warcraft dominated PC gaming?

Define "dominate."Uncharted 4 all the way, every day. Halo4 was my last Halo game.Heil68
Halo sucks, but will sell more because of dumb Americans. Give me Uncharted 4, with co-op!
There are few series that can match the level of hype Halo can reach with Microsoft's rather massive marketing might behind it....
